As The MOVERS WHO CARE®, we are proud to say we have now partnered with Toys For Tots for the last 16 years. Every year we host the kick-off event pick up the donations and provide an additional drop-off site here at our office. The kick-off is always fun with activities, refreshments, and an appearance by Santa himself!
Toys For Tots program was created in 1947 by a Marine Corps Major to bring joy and send a message of hope to the less fortunate children of America. They are widely known and respected in the community and it is an honor to support such a wonderful foundation. There are 40,000 Marines, Corps League members, Veterans, and Volunteers involved annually. Fun Fact: Walt Disney himself created the first Toys For Tots poster which included a 3-car train. This ended up being the red star-wheeled train we all know and love.
