There is a lot on your mind when you are planning to move. These tips are all about how to prepare in advance!
- Start packing early - Begin packing things like the garage and basement ahead of time. This will decrease the work that needs to be done as your near your move date.
- Plan for the unexpected - You may be planning to pack yourself. You may be planning to move some items yourself. Things come up, and you may not get as much done as you hoped. When going over your move with your Customer Service Representative, over-estimate what services you may need so you do not end up paying more than expected.
- Call professional movers in advance - A Good rule of thumb is to call a month in advance. This will depend on how much you have to move, how far you're moving, and if you require more than two movers due to heavy items. Although we may have availability sooner, you want to reserve your move as soon as possible and check that off your list!
- Consider what services you may need - We can do as little or as much as you would like! Assembly and disassembly is included in your move, however, we also offer packing and unpacking services. You may want to reserve just an hour for last minute packing. We bill in 15-minute increments, so you only pay for the time that is needed.
