MOVERS FOR MOMS® is an annual effort that every TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® participates in. We value what can sometimes be a "thankless job". The economy is tough and the last person that is on a mother's mind is herself. She is constantly worried about her children, her job, paying bills, among other things. There are mothers in our community who are lacking even the most basic necessities. We want to show support to our community by giving back to those women who need some extra help.
The Northern Michigan location is proud to say that we have been a part of this program since its conception 17 years ago. We have partnered with The Woman's Resource Center every year and in 2023, we joined up with Generation's Ahead. These are two organizations that have been major support systems in Traverse City.
Every year we search for businesses and organizations that are willing to partner with us to give a great Mother's Day to women in shelters. We look for partners who share the common goal of giving back to the community. There are many ways to contribute. Having several locations host donation boxes is one of the most important aspects of having a successful campaign.
