Dedicated to the San Diego Community
When we’re not moving, you’ll find us heavily involved in our San Diego community. This includes two signature charity drives we host each year: Movers for Moms®, which benefits local women escaping domestic violence, and Movers for Military®, which helps local homeless veterans served by the Veterans Village of San Diego(opens in a new window). We also participate a variety of events like the Encinitas holiday parades. If you see us out and about, say hello!

Movers for Moms®
Thank You, San Diego!
The 2025 Movers for Moms® drive has officially wrapped, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it a success. Together with 25 amazing local businesses, we collected over 1000 comfort and care items to create more than 60 fully stocked care packages for mothers experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
All donations have been delivered to Father Joe’s Villages, just in time for Mother’s Day.
Who We Helped
This year’s donations supported mothers in transitional housing at Father Joe’s Villages, one of San Diego’s largest and most impactful homeless services providers. Their programs offer housing, healthcare, food, and supportive services for families rebuilding their lives.
What We Collected
Thanks to our generous community, we gathered hundreds of essential and thoughtful items, including:
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
Diapers and baby wipes
Moisturizing lotion and face masks
Hair accessories and slippers
Tote bags, blankets, and personalized self-care gifts
These items were bundled into beautiful care packages to bring comfort, dignity, and a little joy to local moms on Mother’s Day.

Some frequently asked questions
What is MOVERS FOR MILITARY®?
MOVERS FOR MILITARY® is a collection drive led by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®(opens in a new window) each fall to provide essential care items for our local homeless veterans. We team up with local businesses, schools, and organizations that hold their own collections of gently used clothing and personal hygiene items. To make participation as easy as possible, we provide collection boxes and materials and handle all pick-up and delivery of donations in time for Veterans Day.
Who does MOVERS FOR MILITARY® benefit?
All donations are delivered to Veterans Village of San Diego(opens in a new window), which assists homeless veterans in San Diego County, including those struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. These veterans include men and women who have recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan.
How can I help?
We welcome additional collection partners to the MOVERS FOR MILITARY® drive, as well as donations from the public and customers. Customers may donate on move day by setting aside items from the wish list and notifying our crew. We will bring them back to our office and deliver them at the end of our collection.
