Dedicated to the San Diego Community
When we’re not moving, you’ll find us heavily involved in our San Diego community. This includes two signature charity drives we host each year: Movers for Moms®, which benefits local women escaping domestic violence, and Movers for Military®, which helps local homeless veterans served by the Veterans Village of San Diego. We also participate a variety of events like the Coronado and North Park holiday parades. If you see us out and about, say hello!
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Military
Our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team launched Movers for Military® to bring critical care items to local veterans facing homelessness. We started our first Movers for Military® campaign a month after opening our doors in 2012, and it quickly became a tradition. Since then, we’ve delivered tens of thousands of clothing items and supplies to homeless veterans in San Diego. This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing collection partners. Our Movers for Military® partners consist of local businesses, schools and organizations who also want to make a positive impact in our community by hosting their own collections. We provide partners with a wish list of items and collection boxes, and at the conclusion of each Movers for Military® drive our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team picks up all donations, organizes and delivers them to Veterans Village of San Diego for distribution.
We welcome additional collection partners to the 2020 Movers for Military® drive. For more information please contact our office at email@example.com or 858.877.2100.
On November 26 we concluded our 8th Annual Movers for Military® collection drive by delivering more than 2000 clothing and toiletry items to Veterans Village of San Diego's Cold-Weather Shelter. This year we had the unique opportunity to hand the donations directly to homeless veterans who needed the supplies immediately. It was touching to see the joy and appreciation that so many recipients showed upon receiving a gently-used sweater or jacket that was likely sitting unused in a closet just weeks before.
Thank you to our amazing collection partners who made this year's drive a success!

Movers for Moms®
Movers for Moms® is annual collection drive we organize to help local women who are escaping homelessness and domestic violence. Our goal is to show them they are remembered and supported on Mother’s Day. Each year we partner with San Diego schools, businesses, and organizations to make this possible.
With the help of our community, we've been able to deliver thousands of critical care items and small gifts to women in shelters since we opened in 2012.
If you or someone you know would like to get involved in Movers for Moms® or Movers for Military®, please contact our office. We provide collection boxes and wish lists to our collection partners, and handle all delivery of donations.
Out and About in the San Diego Community
In addition to our charity events, we participate in a variety of local community events each year like the Coronado Holiday Parade, North Park Toyland Parade and St. Patty’s Day Parade. Say hi if you see us!
VETERANS VILLAGE OF SAN DIEGO
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego has partnered with Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) as our donation partner for eight years in a row. VVSD assists homeless veterans who have substance abuse and/or mental health issues, including men and women who have recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan.
In 2019, the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego team worked closely with collection partners across the county, including local schools, businesses and customers to collect 50 boxes of more than 3,000 donations of gently used clothing and toiletry items for local veterans in need served by VVSD.
