Movers for Moms® - 2017

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego is proud to announce our fifth annual Movers for Moms® campaign! Mother’s Day is a time to honor the women who sacrifice so much for their families. Unfortunately, there are many of these women who are in need of household and comfort items. As the “Movers Who Care®," TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego aims to provide critical assistance to local women in need with a program called Movers for Moms® – a collection of essential items that will be delivered to women in need served by People Assisting the Homeless (PATH).

We are proud to partner with People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) for the second year in a row! PATH is a family of agencies working together to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities throughout California. PATH San Diego is currently helping more than 60 local homeless women in need by prioritizing housing and providing customized supportive services. Their aim is to address homelessness through supportive services, permanent housing development, support for homeless families, and community engagement—all of which ultimately help the people they serve make it home.

This year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego will be collecting household and comfort items for women served by PATH, and we need YOUR help! If you or someone you know would like to get involved this year, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Movers for Military®: 2016 Results

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego, we were proud to help local veterans in need through our 5th Annual Movers for Military® program this year.

Veterans Village of San Diego

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego has partnered with Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) as our donation partner for five years in a row. VVSD assists homeless veterans who have substance abuse and/or mental health issues, including men and women who have recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego team worked closely with collection partners across the county, including local schools, businesses and customers to collect 50 boxes of over 3,000 donations of gently used clothing and toiletry items for local veterans in need served by VVSD.

We’d like to say a special thanks to some of our very generous collection partners who made this year such a success:
