Two Men and a Truck® San Diego: Moving Forward to 2024

As we wrap up another year at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® San Diego, it's time to reflect on the milestones, challenges, and countless moments that shaped our journey in 2023. Here's a recap of our year:

Celebrating 11 Years of Excellence

This year holds special significance for us as we mark our 11th year of operation since Pedro and Alicia, our franchisees, first opened our doors on September 1, 2012. Over the past decade, our commitment to helping individuals and businesses move forward has only grown stronger. In this time, we have assisted more than 25,000 San Diegans in moving forward.

More than 3000 Residential Moves

In 2023, we proudly completed a total of 3208 moves, with each one contributing to the stories of San Diego residents embarking on new chapters. Every move represents not just a physical transition but a journey toward progress, growth, and a fresh start. Whether it's customers moving to new homes or buildings, we helped make this experience stress-free, just like Xzaveon's experiences:

"All settled in! Thank you, Two Men and a Truck. I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They were quick, efficient, and they treated my stuff like it was their own personal items! I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for all moves!"

Going the Distance

Our services go beyond the borders of San Diego, reaching customers through our long-distance moves. Whether they seek an affordable option or a swift relocation, they can rely on either our Value Flex® Crate Move or our Expedited Option — we've got them covered.

In the past year, we completed 32 intrastate moves, connecting destinations like Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, and executed 105 interstate moves to various locations such as Arizona (Prescott, Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma), Nevada (Las Vegas), Utah (Salt Lake City), Oregon (Eugene, Portland), and Washington (Seattle).

So, when it comes to moving long distances, we’ve got the best options!

Moving Businesses Forward

In 2023, we didn't just move residential homes; we also assisted 134 businesses in their needs. Some of our happy clients include Mahoney Environmental, a company specializing in recycling used cooking oil and grease trap services for restaurants and food service establishments. We helped them transport empty cooking oil containers from customer locations to their warehouse. With more than 50 successful moves, Mahoney Environmental serves as an example of the effectiveness of our specialized moving services for businesses.

We also assisted the San Diego Natural History Museum, a museum that preserves and showcases regional natural history, offering educational exhibits and contributing to scientific research. We successfully relocated several museum display cases, each weighing approximately 300 pounds.

Our commitment to making moves feel like a breeze, whether for families or businesses, stays as strong as ever!

Voted Best Moving Company Three Times in a Row

The highlight of our year was being voted the best moving company for the third time in a row by the San Diego Union-Tribune readers! This recognition is particularly special to us as it reflects the satisfaction of our customers and the trust bestowed upon us by the San Diego community. It's a symbol of our commitment to excellence and a customer-centric approach, motivating us to continue providing exceptional moving services, inspired by THE GRANDMA RULE® — treating every customer as if they were our grandma. We are proud to hold this recognition, and we are very thankful for everyone who voted for us!

Giving Back: Movers for Moms and Movers for Military

Beyond our daily tasks, we took pride in participating in meaningful campaigns. Our involvement in the Movers for Moms campaign, supporting YWCA Becky's House, aimed to help women in need by collecting essential items such as items for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and more for their new beginnings. Additionally, our commitment to veterans was evident in the MOVERS FOR MILITARY® campaign, where we gathered donations for VVSD, ensuring that our veterans received not just necessities but items for their recovery and well-being.

As we say goodbye to 2023, we are grateful for our accomplishments and all the people we helped. We're excited about the adventures that await us in 2024 as we continue to move people forward, one journey at a time. Thank you for being part of our story!
