Community Service in Columbus

In August we were able to participate in the annual Back To School Bash presented by NC4K. TWO MEN AND A TRUCKⓇ has partnered with NC4K over the past couple of years to provide support for kids and teens fighting cancer and their families. NC4k is a non-profit that organizes events, financial support, and emotional support to families who are impacted by a childhood cancer diagnosis. This year we were able to volunteer our services at Two Men and a Truck to help transport back to school donations and supplies to their Back To School Bash event at Pickerington Nazarene Church. Our crew was able to transport hundreds of items to the event as well as assist with the setup and cleanup afterwards.

We are looking forward to partnering again this December with their Reindeer Run in downtown Columbus!

For the past 9 years we have given back to our local community through our nation-wide charity project, Movers for Moms®. Our Columbus office has collected and donated thousands of items since the origin of the project in 2017. 

In 2026 we were able to gather hundreds of personal care and household items to donate to the YWCA Columbus’ Women’s Residency program. The Women’s Residency program is designed to provide long-term housing services for women in our community who are dealing with addiction, job loss, or disabilities. We are grateful to have the opportunity to participate in the Movers for Moms® campaign each year and are always looking for more ways to give back to Central Ohio. 

Over the years we have been able to partner with multiple local charities and donation centers and we are planning to continue to add to this list in 2027!

Over the past several years TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® have been a huge partner with A Kid Again. Whenever we have needed their help they have been there for us.

Every year we have a Holiday Party for the families we serve. They will send 2 trucks and 4 men to transport all of our gifts, decorations, supplies and prizes from our storage site to the party.  They guys are wonderful. They are careful, polite and more than happy to help.  They work with diligence to see that time is not wasted and all items are secure. Nothing has ever been lost or broken.

"For a number of years, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® partnered with the American Red Cross by assisting with our Holiday Drive to benefit local Elementary and High Schools. They have generously supplied donation boxes that the Red Cross placed at our facilities around Columbus to accepted donated school and winter supplies for local children. On short notice, they also did a final pick up of all the donated supplies and delivered them to the benefiting schools. Thanks to their help, the Red Cross was able to provide donated items to children and schools in our community."

In September TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Ⓡ was privileged to help sponsor the DownSize Columbus Event as a vendor. Downsize Columbus started back in 2013 and has since welcomed over 5,000 attendees at 40 different events. The fall Downsize event welcomed nearly 100 attendees who are all in the process of downsizing their homes. We offer a full range of service to these individuals and can help with not just the move, but packing services and junk removal. The majority of attendees at the event are homeowners over the age of 55 who are at the stage in life where they need less space and less things. This event is designed to offer resources to those who are letting go of possessions they have held on to for most of their lives and memories from a home they have often lived in for decades. There can be a lot of emotion and stress involved in this pivotal moment of someone's life and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is here to alleviate that stress to handle the entire process of downsizing into a new home. We had many great conversations about providing junk removal to get them started in the process and will be following up with them along the way to help pack their homes when it is time to move as well as execute the move with the exceptional service we are known for. Downsizing can be a very emotional process and we are honored to be invited to this event as a trusted partner to ensure everything goes smoothly when that time comes!

"Every year since then, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has generously stepped forward to help us out with this huge, exhausting undertaking and has sent 2-3 energetic and motivated young men to help us with a full day of unloading our stored treasures from our storage unit in Hilliard to our church on Old Dublin Road.  I am always so grateful for their hard work, efficiency, great attitude and friendly personalities. Even though this is a volunteer project, they still move each item with care, protecting each piece as if we were paying customers. I feel like they are part of our team and am moved by their enthusiasm, determination and willingness to help.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Moving Company has proven their commitment to this community by transporting thousands of donated clothing, numerous equipment, toys and toiletries to the respective site of the Christmas giveaway! Their services have come at no charge to PHCM!!!! Without their assistance, PHCM would be unable to serve those families in need.  Because of the yearly efforts of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Moving Company, over 10,000 families were able to receive the donated items! Even though our PHCM inventory has grown smaller, they continue to assist PHCM in transporting donated items, readying for the Christmas holiday.
