Movers for Moms®

Each year we strive to give back to mothers in need with our national charity campaign, Movers for Moms®. Beginning eight years ago, this campaign collects items for mother’s living in domestic abuse and homeless shelters that are delivered each Mother’s Day.

In 2017, we collected and donated over 2,000 items to My Sister's Place. We partnered with various child care centers and chambers of commerce to help collect the essential care items. This year, we are happy to be partnering with Mothers Helping Mothers and other buisnesses in the Central Ohio area to collect basic care items for moms in need!  Mothers Helping Mothers Inc.'s missionis to provide a refuge, support and guidance in which teenage mothers can receive mentoring, educational encouragement and empowerment while promoting self-sufficiency, positive self-esteem and enhancing teen parenting skills.  We are excited to be a part of their cause and help make this a special Mother's Day.

Project Help

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Moving Company has proven their commitment to this community by transporting thousands of donated clothing, numerous equipment, toys and toiletries to the respective site of the Christmas giveaway! Their services have come at no charge to PHCM!!!! Without their assistance, PHCM would be unable to serve those families in need.  Because of the yearly efforts of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Moving Company, over 10,000 families were able to receive the donated items! Even though our PHCM inventory has grown smaller, they continue to assist PHCM in transporting donated items, readying for the Christmas holiday.

A Kid Again

Over the past several years TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® have been a huge partner with A Kid Again. Whenever we have needed their help they have been there for us.

Every year we have a Holiday Party for the families we serve. They will send 2 trucks and 4 men to transport all of our gifts, decorations, supplies and prizes from our storage site to the party.  They guys are wonderful. They are careful, polite and more than happy to help.  They work with diligence to see that time is not wasted and all items are secure. Nothing has ever been lost or broken.

I appreciate their professionalism and care and look forward to their help again in the future.

American Red Cross

"For a number of years, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® partnered with the American Red Cross by assisting with our Holiday Drive to benefit local Elementary and High Schools. They have generously supplied donation boxes that the Red Cross placed at our facilities around Columbus to accepted donated school and winter supplies for local children. On short notice, they also did a final pick up of all the donated supplies and delivered them to the benefiting schools. Thanks to their help, the Red Cross was able to provide donated items to children and schools in our community."

The Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens

"As Chair of The Ohio State University Chadwick Arboretum Spring Plant Sale Auctions I can't find adequate words to express how grateful I am to Gail and John Kelley for providing many years of free pickup and delivery services from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.  They have donated the equivalent value of thousands of dollars of moving services over the years for us, and they have reliably delivered unique and specimen grade trees and shrubs from many nurseries across Ohio who generously donate to our Tree/Shrub Auctions.  Our staff have been always been very kind and flexible when I have asked if they could possibly add another nursery pickup, reschedule, etc.  The Auctions have come to rely on them for generously donating their services and contributing to the success of our largest fund raising event of the year."

First Community Church

"Every year since then, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has generously stepped forward to help us out with this huge, exhausting undertaking and has sent 2-3 energetic and motivated young men to help us with a full day of unloading our stored treasures from our storage unit in Hilliard to our church on Old Dublin Road.  I am always so grateful for their hard work, efficiency, great attitude and friendly personalities. Even though this is a volunteer project, they still move each item with care, protecting each piece as if we were paying customers. I feel like they are part of our team and am moved by their enthusiasm, determination and willingness to help.

Last year we raised over $53,000.  Since our first sale in 1996, we have been able to raise over $600,000.  By far, the most profitable item we sell is our furniture.  Attached to this letter is a list of the projects we gave our earnings to last year.  On behalf of everyone in our church, thank you for your partnership and generosity and for being a company that genuinely cares."
