WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE STORM?

When hurricanes Helene and Milton threatened South Florida, our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of  Fort Lauderdale took proactive steps to protect both our team and customers. Fortunately, the storms shifted course, sparing our community from the worst of their impact. Thanks to our thorough planning and the dedication of our crew, we managed to keep operations running smoothly without disruption. This allowed us to focus on ways we could make a positive impact in the aftermath for those affected elsewhere.

With Community Partners, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Fort Lauderdale quickly launched a donation drive to gather essential supplies. Our goal was to assist those devastated by these powerful storms, focusing on collecting non-perishable food, toiletries, and clothing. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the response was overwhelming, with both individuals and businesses coming together to contribute. Every donation—no matter the size—became a part of a larger effort to bring relief and hope to those rebuilding their lives.

Donations from Microsoft

The collected donations are now being transported to the Salvation Army in Tampa, where they will be distributed to families and individuals most affected by the storms. At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Fort Lauderdale, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back and proud to collaborate with partners like Microsoft, who share our commitment to helping communities in need. While we were fortunate to avoid the brunt of Helene and Milton, we stand firmly with those who weren’t as lucky, working to deliver more than just donations—we’re delivering hope.
