It was short notice, but hundreds of Mark Wahlberg fans stood in line for hours on Friday 8/25/23 at a Cooper City Publix liquor store for a chance to meet the singer/actor/producer/entrepreneur as he signed bottles of his tequila brand, Flecha Azul, to raise money to support victims of the recent Maui fires.
The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team was lucky enough to catch him and have four bottles signed for two of our upcoming community partners' silent auctions. If you missed your chance to catch up with THE Marky Mark in person, autographed bottles will be available for purchase in the Winterfest Boat Parade Black Tie Ball Silent Auction. Attendance at the ball is not required to bid on auction items and the online link will go live in early December.
The second set of bottles will be auctioned off at a TBD date in support of Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.
In 2022 Mark invested in Flecha Azul (Blue Arrow) Tequila and joined professional golfer Abraham Anoer as the face of the brand. With the current SAG strike pressing pause on Mark's entertainment ventures the star has shifted focus to his tequila company and community service through a series of pop-in visits in bars and liquor stores in various U.S. cities including South Florida's own Cooper City and Delray Beach.
A commitment to the community is a central part of our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Mission Statement. We participate in varying degrees with several different charities, events, and initiatives throughout the year.
