As we roll into the heart of Hurricane Season, again, it seems a bit like Groundhog Day (the Florida version) here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. For 25 years we have painstakingly planned, prepared, and prepped as if every potential weather event is the next Hurricane Andrew. For many of us, Hurricane Andrew was our first brush with a storm and while we joke (and post Jim Cantore memes) with the best of them, we do know that Truckie's Golden Rule also applies to storms: Safety First.
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK we do our best to make each client's moving day as seamless and stress-free as possible, even during a potential weather event. We do not shut down unless we are under a Hurricane Warning (24 hours until hurricane conditions are expected). At this point, it is no longer safe for our trucks, our staff, or your items to be on the roads. Our staff will be available both before and after the storm to discuss your moving needs and rescheduling if your moving day was impacted by the weather system. We will reach out as soon as we are back in the office (with four local locations, at least one of them will be up and running pretty quickly).
