What if my movers are late?
You will be given an arrival window at the time of booking. Traffic on US-183, the 183A toll road, or even FM 14/31 can occasionally slow a crew down. We track every truck in our fleet, so if we know we'll be late, we will contact you before your window expires.
If something breaks?
We load carefully to avoid damage, but if something breaks, tell us, and we'll file your claim immediately. Repairs, replacement, or refunds depend on your valuation coverage.
Will I be insured while my belongings are in transit?
Yes. As licensed Texas motor carriers, we provide the minimum Carrier Liability Valuation required by the state of Texas. For high-value items, we recommend discussing increased valuation coverage with us.
How much time will my move take?
Loading and unloading a typical 2-3 bedroom house or apartment takes about 3-6 hours. The exact answer depends on how much you have to move, whether there are stairs or an elevator, and the distance between the two addresses. We will provide you with an estimated time frame along with your quote.
How many movers will there be?
The size of your home and amount of furniture determine how many movers we'll send. The typical residential move has 2-3 movers and a 26 ft truck. Your home may be bigger, you may have heavier pieces, or you may have a high box count. If so, you may need a fourth mover to speed things up or a second truck so everyone doesn't get spread too thin.
What forms of payment do you accept?

What if I have stairs at my old house/new house?
Let us know when you request your estimate. We'll send the appropriate crew and schedule enough time to safely navigate stairs. All of our trucks are equipped with hand trucks, dollies, and floor runners to help us with stairs, freight elevators, and long carries.
When should I schedule my move?
Try to schedule your move two to four weeks out. Weekends and the last few days of the month book first, so if your move falls on either, call early. Weekday moves can usually be booked with less notice.
I need to move this weekend – can I schedule a last-minute move?
Absolutely! If we have truck and crew availability, we can schedule your move. Closing dates come up every day – just give us a call, and we'll see what's possible.
Can I reschedule my move?
Yes. If you need to reschedule, give us 5 days' notice, and we'll find a new day that works for you.
How can I prepare for my movers?
- Keep a bag packed with important documents, valuables, chargers, and any medications you may need for the day, and take it with you.
- Label all boxes with the room they belong to, and clearly mark FRAGILE if necessary.
- Pack up the path from every room to the front door, and from the door to your driveway.
- Unload the parking spot for the truck and text us any gate/building codes.
What does professional packing entail?
Boxes, paper, tape, wardrobe boxes, dish cartons — you name it, we'll bring it. We carefully pack and label everything you own by the room it came from. For a smaller load, we can pack breakables only.
How do you define long distance?
Outside of Texas. Houston and Dallas are long distance, but we have plenty of experience with that kind of move. If you're moving cross-country, our Expedited and Value Flex® programs can help.
Will I have to take apart my furniture?
Your movers will take apart most bed frames, headboards, dining tables, etc. Specialty furniture such as pool tables, oversized gym equipment, or built-in cabinets may require you or someone else to do this beforehand.
Can I leave clothes in my dresser?
Sure, as long as they're lightweight and not breakable. So keep your socks and T-shirts, but unload heavy stuff like jeans and fold them elsewhere. An overpacked dresser can be damaged during moving.
