Movers for Moms®

movers for moms logo austin texas TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® teams from across the country go out into their local communities every spring with one mission: help collect as many donations benefiting a local women's and family shelter. The idea is that we will deliver all the donated items to the moms on or prior to Mother's Day, hence the campaigns name Movers for Moms. This is our way of saying thanks to all the mothers out there, we appreciate each and every one of you! This past year, we worked with local businesses to act as donation sites and we then collected all of the boxes of donations and delivered them to The Texas Baptist Children's Home. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® strives to be more than just a moving company, we want to make sure we are a part of our local communities.

We are proud at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® to be involved in the North Austin and Williamson County communities. Helping the communities that we serve has been a huge part of our mission since we were founded. The Hill Country Bible Church has been active in supplying children with school supplies to assure that they have the best resources available to them. This is exactly the type of cause that we are passionate about. We paired with them to gather supplies as part of the Backpack Attack project. Together we sent children off to school with a backpack stuffed full of supplies! Click here to learn more about their organization: www.hcbc.com/serve/backpack-attack

American Red Cross

American Red Cross

We've also teamed up with the American Red Cross of Central Texas. In our partnership with them, we have supplied trucks and manpower to assist in their efforts. Our team has moved clothing, food and other emergency supplies. The Red Cross is always there when citizens need them most. We know how important their efforts are and it is our pleasure to be in their corner! Click here to learn more about their organization: www.redcross.org/tx/austin

Toys for Tots

We're incredibly humbled to work with Sgt. Trey Chapa of the USMC and Toys For Tots of Central Texas. Together, we’ve donated services to deliver Christmas toys for young children. The spirit of giving back to our community is strong, and we're happy to keep moving that spirit forward. Click here to learn more about their organization.

Movers Who Care Meet People Who Care

May 24, 2016
While driving around the greater Austin area picking up Two Men and A Truck Movers For Moms donation boxes located at the various Juice Land locations, I passed on my contact information to a woman who simply seemed to be indulging in her routine juice purchase. This woman, who came to be known as Heather, left on my heart that will never leave me. She is a reminder of why I love being a part of an organization that cares about giving back and helping others. Continue Reading
