Your Holland "Movers Who Care."
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Holland has given back to the community since we first opened our doors.
When TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® made their first $1000 profit, the company's owner Mary Ellen Sheets wrote ten checks to different charities. Since then, franchises nationwide have kept the same core value of giving back to our communities. Here are a couple of our partnerships in the Lakeshore area:
Movers for Moms® is the national spring charity campaign for all TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations. During this time we gather and donate thousands of items to women living in domestic abuse and homeless shelters essential items like food, toiletries, etc. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® teams up with local businesses and schools every year to present women with these gifts on Mother's Day.
We have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to perform moves and lend a helping hand. Habitat for Humanity provides housing for people in-need in the Lakeshore area. Giving back to our local community is part of our core values and is what drives us to be the best we can be.
The Holland area is full of great people who are always giving back to the community. We are proud to donate boxes to Bethany Christian Services for their Back To School drive yearly. This yearly drive provides quality school supplies to children in the Holland area so that they can perform their best during the school year! Keep up the good work Bethany Christian Services!
Our high referral rate of 98% means our customers return again and again for their moving needs, and tell their friends and family about our special “Movers Who Care®” service promise.
Movers for Moms® is the national TWO MEN AND A TRUCK campaign to collect essential care items for women in need just in time for Mother's Day! The Holland franchise partners with local shelters, schools, and businesses to help make Mother's Day special for local moms living in shelters. In 2019, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK nationally collected over 295,000 care items for mothers in need!
For the 2020 Movers for Moms® campaign, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Holland is proud to partner with Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence. Resilience works within Ottawa County to help end domestic violence and sexual assault and offers assistance to any victims of violence. This year we have 16 local business partners to help collect donation items:
