We’re beyond grateful to be one of the 2024 Together We Can Appreciation Award winners, presented by Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence.
We’re super excited to be one of the first-ever recipients of the Business Champion Award! This award means so much to us, as it recognizes businesses making a real impact in the lives of survivors and working alongside the community to help end domestic and sexual violence. Through programs like Movers for Moms®, we’re proud to support moms in shelters and provide them with the care they need when they need it most.

Movers for Moms®
Movers for Moms® is a heartfelt initiative by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, dedicated to collecting essential care items for mothers in need just in time for Mother’s Day. At the Lakeshore franchise, we partner with local shelters, schools, and businesses to make this special day meaningful for moms living in shelters.
In 2024, thanks to the generosity of the Lakeshore community, we successfully donated nearly 3,000 essential items to Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence. This year, our goal is even bigger—we’re aiming to collect over 3,300 items, and we need your support to make it happen!

Movers For Mutts®
Since joining the Movers For Mutts® campaign in 2017, our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® office has been dedicated to helping pets in need. This year, we teamed up with Harbor Humane Society for our biggest and best Movers For Mutts® event yet! With an incredible turnout, we received generous donations, and one lucky puppy even found a forever home!
Local Partners
Community Action House
Community Action House, a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization, supports local families and individuals by providing essential resources like food, clothing, and shelter while equipping them with skills to build stable, thriving lives. We are proud to contribute to their impactful work by donating boxes for local food drives, and helping to collect and distribute much-needed supplies. This year, we were also honored to sponsor their 3rd annual Community Fest, a wonderful event benefiting their innovative food club program. Being part of such meaningful initiatives is a privilege and a reflection of our commitment to giving back to the community.
Habitat for Humanity Lakeshore
We are proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity to support their mission of providing housing for those in need across the Lakeshore area. Along with assisting with moves, we also deliver items to their store, making a meaningful impact on the lives of local families. Giving back to our community is a cornerstone of our core values and motivates us to go above and beyond in everything we do.
Tulip Time
Tulip Time is a beloved annual festival in Holland, Michigan, celebrating the city’s rich Dutch heritage, stunning tulips, and vibrant community spirit. We’re proud to support this iconic event by helping transport artwork to and from the festival, participating in the artisan market, and joining in the excitement of the parade. Being part of such a cherished tradition is an honor, and we love contributing to the magic of Tulip Time!
