Focused on our Battle Creek community

In its tenth year, the national program continues to grow and gain additional success. In 2018, the Battle Creek program collected more than 7,500 items for mothers across the country staying in hundreds of shelters. We are excited to kick off this March. The MOVERS FOR MOMS® objective is to provide women living in domestic abuse or homeless shelters with essential items such as soap, toothpaste, food, etc.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will partner with local schools, businesses, and other organizations starting in late March leading up to Mother’s Day. These items help make a difference in women’s lives and give them hope with essential care items most people take for granted. This not only positively impacts the mothers in need but their entire families as well.

The Generation E Institute is a non-profit organization based in Battle Creek, Michigan that offers youth entrepreneurial education programs and consulting services to schools and community-based organizations. GenEI is unique in its community approach and instruction designed to empower every participant and to grow a business venture. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® also helped relocate the GenE office to their new building as a charity move by supplying trucks, staff and man hours for a good cause.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. In 2015,2016, 2017, we donated over 150 hours of moving services to the Toys For Tots program. Or services were used to pick up over 300 donations boxes spread over the Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Portage areas.

Townsquare Media is a local media and entertainment company that owns and operates radio, digital and live event properties in 66 small to mid-sized markets across the country. The Company specializes in creating and distributing original entertainment, music and lifestyle content. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® partnered with Townsquare Media by donating moving boxes for the “School Supply Give Back.” This program collects school supplies by using our boxes as drop-off locations throughout the community, benefiting Big Brothers, Big Sisters locally.
