The success of Movers for Moms® 2024 in Birmingham was fueled by the contributions from our community partners:

These organizations stepped up in extraordinary ways, providing collection points, generously donating wish list items, and spreading the word.
Beneficiaries: Spreading Hope and Support
This year, the collected donations were directed to two outstanding local organizations: First Light and Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank.
First Light, a safe haven for homeless women and their children, received 359 essential care items. These items provide immediate relief and support to women facing challenging circumstances.
Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank, dedicated to providing diapers and wipes to families in need, received 71 packs of wipes and 3,337 diapers. For many Alabama families, accessing sufficient diapers is a challenge. This donation ensures that babies stay clean, dry, and healthy, relieving financial stress and enabling parents to focus on other essential needs.
The Power of Community
Movers for Moms® 2024 in Birmingham was more than just a collection drive; it was a testament to what we can achieve when we come together. The collective efforts of businesses, organizations, and individuals created a wave of generosity. From providing collection sites to leveraging their networks for greater reach, their contributions were invaluable. This collaboration not only gathered essential items but also raised awareness about the issues facing women and families in our community.
