Hanging Window snowman Garland
This is possibly the simplest holiday DIY, and can really add festivity to your space!
Supplies:
- 1 small cardboard box (such as a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK box)
- Scissors
- Craft paint
- Paint brush
- Elastic string
- Pencil
Step 1: Begin by peeling off one side of the cardboard. Begin tracing your snowman shapes you like onto the peeled part to be used as a template.
Step 2: Cut out your templates and trace them onto the cardboard.
Step 3: Cut out shapes on cardboard.
Step 4: Paint your holiday shapes on both sides and decorate with any art supplies you have handy. Glitter and craft paint are always big hits. Hot glue your pieces together.
Step 5: Poke a small hole at the top of your shape using your scissors. Loop the elastic string through, and secure above a window or on the ceiling to create your hanging garland. Optional! Hang shapes from a tree branch for a more rustic look.
