The initial discussion on costs sand services was clear and concise. And accurate. The movers observed the separation of elements as I requested. The movers were thoughtful and pleasant. Unfortunately their billing machine did not work so they asked me to write a check which I did. It would make more sense if the contact person confirmed pick-up/delivery two days before since I was never able to return his call the evening before.or early the next morning. I finally had to find a different number where I was assured the movers were in route. They arrived within 10 minutes. All in all I was pretty happy.

Appointment was 10 am Saturday. Movers called at 830 said they were short staff and would be delayed several calls later they kept saying were coming delayed again and agin for various reasons We terminated the agreement as a no show at 3 pm Saturday. By that time it was snowing and raining. If they had shown up on time we would have finished by noon

I thought this would be a pleasant experience but it wasnandacirc;??t. My designated rep/office staff didnandacirc;??t return my calls or voicemail to confirm my appointment. It was only when I dialed the mainline to reach someone else was I able to confirm the appointment two days before.
The movers didnandacirc;??t listen to my requests which ended up extending the time of the move longer than it shouldandacirc;??ve (by an hour and a half). I had work later that day that I had to cancel that cost me money. They also left marks and scrapes in my new location because of poor handling. They apologized profusely but it was still unprofessional. The movers were nice but they need more training.

Rico and Jaloney were punctual, courteous and fast to wrap and protect some valuable pieces of antique furniture and art work for me and deliver them to their destination in Old Town Alexandria. I would certainly use them again.

We had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck. The movers were friendly, professional and efficient. We ran into an issue at the location we were moving to and had to switch apartments last minute and the movers were accommodating and patient and helpful during a very stressful process. We would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck.

I worked with Edmund and Jim, whom I prefer to work with again once I have another job. Everything just went very smoothly. They came when they said they would, they didn't have any problems getting the furniture out, (even though it was in a tight spot), and made sure everything was perfect before the job was complete.
Very happy with the direct interaction with my movers and the indirect correspondence and coordination of the back office of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.

I have moved several times since 2007, but started with family and friends. In 2009, I used Two Men and Truck and have used them ever since. They are fast, inexpensive, and every employee have always been professional. I have used them 3 times in Ohio before moving to DC and using them twice here.
