Community Involvement

We are a family-owned business and love our community! Over the past several years, we have volunteered our time and resources participating in the national Movers for Moms® campaign. We've enjoyed collecting items for women at local shelters, and have delivered more than 3,500 items to Family Services Inc. in Winston-Salem in the past two years. We have also received the Patriotic Employer Award for supporting staff in the Armed Services and National Guard.

Because of our great customers and their support, we’ve been privileged to give back to our community by volunteering with Bookmarks, Children's Museum of Winston Salem, Winston Salem Crisis Control Ministry, Dress for Success, Ronald McDonald House of Winston Salem, Junior League of Winston Salem, Leadership of Winston-Salem, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, National MS Society, and many, many others.

Movers for Mutts®

While this is the fifth year the Movers for Mutts® program has been in existence, 2017 was the inaugural year for us here in Winston Salem! We partnered with the Forsyth Humane Society to collect items they need the most at their shelter because, regardless of whether an animal is homeless or not, they all deserve to be protected and treated with love. We wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to the community businesses that helped us collect hundreds of items for these animals: Wag Boutique, The Natural Dog, and Foothills Brewing.

We've since wrapped our second year of Movers for Mutts® and it was even more successful than our first! Throughout the month of September, our community partners Winston Salem Vet Hospital, Ard-Vista Animal Hospital and Reynolda Vet Hospital helped us collect hundred of items to benefit the Forsyth Humane Society. Despite our drive being complete, the humane society is always in need of donations. Monetary donations can be made online ( and physical donations can be brought directly to their office and 4881 Country Club Road

If you would like to help this amazing organization continue the great work they do, please let us know; we're always looking for additional community collection partners to help us gather these items as our drive continues to grow each year!

Movers for Moms®

Each spring, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® launches a local charity campaign called Movers for Moms®, a campaign dedicated to helping mothers and children in need. We work with local partners in our community to collect essential need items which are then delivered to homeless and domestic abuse shelters (such as Family Services here in Winston Salem) for Mother’s Day.

Last year marked 10 years since the program launched. We collected items for Family Services of Forsyth County through the end of April and were able to gift them with over 1,000 items! This year, we're happy to announce that we'll be able to donate over 2,500 items! Thank you to our community collection partners who made this year's campaign such a success: Jerry Long YMCA, Snider Tire, Moore Magnet Elementary School, and Ego Hour Hair Designers. A huge thank you goes out to everyone in the community who stopped by our office with additional donations as well!

Local Partners

Girls on the Run - Triad

Our newest community partnership this year is the recently developed chapter, Girls on the Run of the Triad! This wonderful organization works with girls in grades 3-8 to help guide them and give them the skills to be happy and healthy as they grow up. It's an activity-based program that works to develop their strength of character, contribute to their communities, develop positive connections with their peers and adults, and so much more. This year, we will be helping GOTR set up for the Spring 5K on Saturday, May 12. We're so excited to help them make this event successful as well as have them be a collection partner for our Movers for Moms® charity drive!

Throughout the year, we partner with Kaleideum, formerly the Children's Museum of Winston Salem, to sponsor some of their events as well as assist on various charity moves. As the need arises, we donate our trucks and time to help move exhibits, bring in new equipment and set up events - whatever they may need! For the last several years, we have been sponsors of their Truck and Treat event, setting up a truck and handing out candy and giveaways so that children and families have a safe place to trick or treat for Halloween.
