Moving our Community Forward

Our drive is to not just be a local moving company, but a local company that truly cares about our respective communities.  This community focus along with our superior Customer Service are what truly sets TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Raleigh apart.

Movers for Moms®

Its Summer time in Raleigh-Durham, which means that Movers for Moms® has concluded for another year!  As in previous years, all proceeds from this have been donated to InterAct of Wake County and they were all hand-delivered on Mother's Day. We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Triangle area Dairy Queen locations, Christina Valkanoff Realty GroupKendra Scott, La Petite Academy of Raleigh, and Rainbow Child Care Centers as continued partners in this venture. Your constant support has truly made a tremendous difference in countless women and children all over the Triangle!

Movers for Mutts®

Our Movers for Mutts® campaign is in full swing all over the greater Raleigh-Durham market.  We were able to participate in adoption drives with our partner, the Animal Protection Society of Durham, in and around the greater Triangle market throughout the year.  We host a number of awareness events at the University of North Carolina football and basketball games, at Duke football and basketball games, and at NC State football games as well.  We would like to thank the entire Triangle community for your support.  Because of your generous donations, Movers for Mutts® has raised over $15,000 each year for Triangle dogs and cats in need and are pushing to eclipse $20,000 this year.

Local Partners

Our team was excited to work with Bell Partners, the exclusive Apartment Management Company in the Triangle and Triad areas, as well as UNC Children's Hospital for the Cheeriodicals campaign. The Cheeriodicals program is designed to bring cheer to patients when they need it most.  We are honored to be a part of this incredible program and look forward to many more opportunities to give back to the greater Raleigh-Durham community.

Christina Valkanoff Realty Group and Miller Lending

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we take great pride in not only providing the very best moving services in the Raleigh-Durham area, but also for being an integral part of the Triangle. It is this focus on community that drives our many charitable efforts and our work with community partners like Christina Valkanoff Realty Group and Miller Lending.  These partners are not only beacons in the greater RDU area, but they can also help us streamline your next relocation, whether it’s local or long-distance.

Another key initiative for which we are passionate is the Franchise Action Network. This program is run in conjunction with the International Franchise Association (IFA) with the belief that "Locally-owned franchises are America's hidden small businesses." By joining and participating in the FAN program, we are able to work with local, state, and federal lawmakers to help create jobs while providing immense value to our local community. One of the FAN's biggest events takes place every September where our team along with hundreds of other franchise-based businesses meets with our House and Senate representatives on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. This one-of-a-kind annual event allows the opportunity for IFA members to discuss the franchising industry and truly convey how important our small businesses are to the local economy.

The phrase "Movers Who Care®" is not only our motto, but our focus on each and every customer interaction.  It is for this reason that our entire staff recently completed Dementia Training with the Orange County Department so that we can go the extra mile when it comes to moving Seniors.

Pets With Wings

Give Back to the Community and Care are two of the six TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Core Values and some of the ideals that our moving family in Raleigh-Durham live by.  In this spirit, our team has started working the St Thomas Humane Society on a program called Pets with Wings.  The goal of the initiative is to help dogs and cats who were displaced by Hurricane Irma to fly from St Thomas to partner shelters all over the country.  Recently, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Raleigh-Durham Franchisee Brooke Wilson and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK/Chattanooga Franchisee Jennifer Hale delivered Noguet and Fabion from St Thomas to Saving Grace in Wake Forest.  Our team plans to continue helping Hurricane Irma displaced animals as we will bring more dogs and cats in the coming months so that they can find their forever homes.

Tour de Cure

One of our partnerships within the greater Raleigh-Durham community is working with the American Diabetes Association on their annual Tour de Cure bike ride that starts at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary and then stretches 100 miles all over the greater Triangle area. The bike ride is the premier fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association and is also the nation's largest diabetes cycling event. Since its inception in 1991, this bike tour has raised an amazing $250,000,000 to help advance their cause of raising awareness of diabetes and also towards researching a cure. During this weekend-long event, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Raleigh-Durham provides transportation services of all of the necessary supplies that the bike riders may need during the course of this grueling test of endurance at checkpoints throughout the race course. We are thrilled to be a contributor to this awesome cause!
