Moving our Community Forward

Our drive is to not just be a local moving company, but a local company that truly cares about our respective communities.  This community focus along with our superior Customer Service are what truly sets TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Raleigh apart.

Movers for Mutts

Our 2016 Movers for Mutts campaign just wrapped-up in the Triangle.  We were able to participate in adoption drives with our partner, the Animal Protection Society of Durham, in and around the greater Raleigh-Durham market throughout the months of October and November.  We hosted an awareness event at the University of North Carolina football game against Georgia Tech on Saturday, November 5 and another on Duke's campus before the Duke-UNC footrball game on Thursday, November 10.  We would like to thank the entire Triangle community for your support.  Because of your generous donations, we were able to raise $13,500!!

Movers for Moms®

We are thrilled to have completed our Movers for Moms® campaign for 2017. The Triangle area donation drives were a huge success as we collected over 4000 items of non-perishable items for local Mothers in need!  All proceeds for the Movers for Moms® program went to InterAct of Wake County and were again delivered on Mothers' Day.  We would also like to extend a very special thank you to Triangle area Dairy Queen locations, RE/MAX One Realty, Kendra Scott, La Petite Academy of Raleigh, and Rainbow Child Care Centers. Without your wonderful contributions, this campaign would not have had nearly as much impact. We look forward to sharing this program with the greater Raleigh and Holly Springs communities for years to come!

Movers for Moms is one of the initiatives that truly embodies TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's love of the community. This program is successful because of partners like Dairy Queen and ReMAX One Realty

Partnerships and organizations

One of our partnerships within the greater Raleigh-Durham community is working with the American Diabetes Association on their annual Tour de Cure bike ride that starts at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary and then stretches 100 miles all over the greater Triangle area. The bike ride is the premier fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association and is also the nation's largest diabetes cycling event. Since its inception in 1991, this bike tour has raised an amazing $250,000,000 to help advance their cause of raising awareness of diabetes and also towards researching a cure. During this weekend-long event, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Raleigh-Durham provides transportation services of all of the necessary supplies that the bike riders may need during the course of this grueling test of endurance at checkpoints throughout the race course. We are thrilled to be a contributor to this awesome cause!

Orange County Department on Aging

The phrase "Movers Who Care®" is not only our motto, but our focus on each and every customer interaction.  It is for this reason that our entire staff recently completed Dementia Training with the Orange County Department so that we can go the extra mile when it comes to moving Seniors.

Our moving team was honored to participate in Cheeriodicals along with Bell Partners and UNC Children's Hospital

Our team was excited to work with Bell Partners, the exclusive Apartment Management Company in the Triangle and Triad areas, as well as UNC Children's Hospital for the Cheeriodicals campaign. The Cheeriodicals program is designed to bring cheer to patients when they need it most.  We are honored to be a part of this incredible program and look forward to many more opportunities to give back to the greater Raleigh-Durham community.

Franchise Action Network

Local Franchise Owner Les Wilson at this year's IFA event preparing to meet with lawmakers

Another key initiative for which we are passionate is the Franchise Action Network. This program is run in conjunction with the International Franchise Association (IFA) with the belief that "Locally-owned franchises are America's hidden small businesses." By joining and participating in the FAN program, we are able to work with local, state, and federal lawmakers to help create jobs while providing immense value to our local community. One of the FAN's biggest events takes place every September where our team along with hundreds of other franchise-based businesses meets with our House and Senate representatives on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. This one-of-a-kind annual event allows the opportunity for IFA members to discuss the franchising industry and truly convey how important our small businesses are to the local economy.
