TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Moms®

Every year, we participate in the national TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® charity initiative Movers for Moms®, a campaign dedicated to helping mothers in need. We partner with various local businesses, schools, and churches in the community to collect essential items which are then delivered to our Greensboro recipient, Family Service of the Piedmont, and distributed to families in need around Mother’s Day.

Over the past two years, we have been able to collect nearly 7,000 items that were gifted to those in need at Family Service of the Piedmont, largely due to the support from our local Greensboro community. Thank you to the High Point Chamber of Commerce, Greensboro Orthopedics, Girls on the Run and Guildford Elementary School for continuing to be amazing community partners! We couldn't have had such a successful campaign without the support and generosity of our amazing community.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to make so many mother's happy again this year and are looking forward to our 2019 campaign! Below is a list of items most needed for this year's drive:

Movers for Mutts®

Our fall charity campaign, Movers for Mutts®, was launched for the first time in September 2017 in our Greensboro community. The donations we collected went to benefit the Humane Society of the Triad. Despite 2017 being the first year we executed this campaign in Greensboro, we were overwhelmed by the huge amounts of donations we were able to collect to help so many animals living in shelters. We want to give a huge shoutout to our community partners who helped collect donations: The Natural Dog, All Pets Considered, KaiJax Gym and the Cannonball Marathon Series

We have since wrapped our second campaign and saw even more success than we did last year! Our amazing collection partners in the community helped us collect several hundred items that were delivered to the Humane Society of the Piedmont and distributed throughout the community. A huge "thank you" goes out to Lawndale Vet Hospital, Proformance Pet Supply, PetSense, Southwoods Animal Hospital, All Pets Considered and Animal Ark Vet for helping us gather donations this year!

Donations are always needed and accepted throughout the year - physical donations can be brought directly to the humane society, located at 4527 W. Wendover Ave. while monetary donations can be made online at: Humane Society of the Triad - General Fund.

We will be getting ready to plan for our 2019 campaign very soon! If your business would like to be a community collection partner for this year's campaign, please contact our office for more information!
