Community Involvement in The Ozarks
Since our Springfield franchise opened in 1994, we’ve been committed to supporting our community by donating our time, moving services, and resources to local non-profits. This fall, we're hosting our first Movers for Mutts drive to collect food and supplies for Springfield pets in need! We hope you'll join us in collecting donations, bringing your four-legged friend to our dog-friendly events, and competing in our design and coloring contests!
Movers for Mutts
Movers for Mutts is a program created by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in an effort to help local animal shelters support and foster stray animals. This program is hosted each fall and partners with local businesses, schools, and organizations to collect food, toys, and other essential items pets may need. This will be our first year for Movers for Mutts campaign benefiting the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri!
Movers for Moms®
We work to not only support our customers, but also our local Springfield community through outreach efforts like Movers for Moms®, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s collection drive for moms in need. This year our recipient was Harmony House.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country collect donations during the spring that will make Mother’s Day special for moms living in domestic abuse or homeless shelters. Are you interested in collecting supplies for Movers For Moms® 2018? Please give us a call for participating locations near you. You may also drop off year round at our local office in Springfield.
How the program works
For Movers for Moms® 2018, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will pick up and deliver the collected items to partnering shelters around Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13. Donations are determined by individual shelters, but can include: nice soaps, hair styling products, shampoos and conditioners, pillows, blankets, slippers and other basic clothing items.
Partnerships and Organizations
We understand the importance of giving back to the community — it's one of our core values! We like to offer our help where we know our strengths — our trucks and manpower — will be utilized. If a charity has needed something moved from Point A to Point B, chances are we have helped!
Last year we donated 589 hours of packing and moving services to area non-profits! In 2017, we are proud to have partnered with these wonderful charities and more:
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Springfield is proud to support Harmony House. Since 1976, Harmony House has provided safe and secure emergency housing to families escaping domestic violence; the organization promotes the principle that all individuals have the right to a life free of abuse. They not only provide women and children a place to rest and heal, but they offer case management, advocacy, outreach support, and prevention education services to more than 700 women and children. Lives are being changed by Harmony House. We were honored to be involved in helping Harmony House Family Violence Prevention Center move into their new home on February 16, 2017. Thank you to all our movers and drivers who made this move a success.
Toys for tots
The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future. Each year we participate in this cause by picking up and delivering the donated toys.

2018 St. Patrick's Day Parade
Downtown Springfield, MO
We had a blast participating in the St. Patrick's Day Parade March 17, 2018. It is always fun to be a part of the community we live and work in. We had our mascot, three local cloggers doing some Irish Clogging for the crowd and got to see smiling faces as we threw candy to the kids.
