I was in a terrible panic since the day before I tried to contact Two Men and Truck to just give them a better idea of what I had that they might have to move. I left my phone no and never received a return call til the next day when I called twice when I called the 2nd time that day of the move and I was worried about the movers not getting to my house early enough as they couldn't get there til just after 11:30am then I got a call from.

Also there was a white kitchen step ladder that I am aware of that did not make it to the new address.

A few furniture pieces were damaged, money was stolen from a purse and I can never get ahold of anyone at the company. I will NOT be recommending your company!

My only concern was that I have two doors coming into the house - one wider than the other. The movers brought a large leather loveseat in through the smaller door after I suggested the larger door. They scraped the paint on the door. Other than that, they were very polite and efficient. I will definitely use Two Men and a Truck and would also hire this moving crew again.

The boxes were not correctly marked with contents.
Some items were over wrapped and others not at all.

There was damage to the property moving from and moving to. The settlement was satisfactory.
There was damage to a TV set that was settled satisfactorly.

I made arrangements to move a safe, they weren't prepared and were not going to move it until I helped lift and move it. They would only take less than half of the load. They plastic wrapped our dressers and cabinets with drawers and contents in them, then turned them over and over during the move, contents were scattered everywhere, on the ground and in both houses, I had to go behind them to pick things up. A leg was broken off my sofa, they didn't tell me about it until I asked where it was, they picked it up off the floor in the truck. I spent an additional 4 days moving things in my small jeep, I had to take off work to get this done.

They left two van loads of stuff in our old apt which our family had to move for us while cleaning the old apt for inspection- broke several items
So now I can't recommend them

I would recommend two men and truck to friends or family looking to move locally. The staff was courteous, personable, and hard working. Despite there being a blizzard , the move was completed slightly ahead of schedule. My only suggestion would be to possibly use different de-icing salt. We’ve been cleaning up 1 kt diamond sized grains of salt from our carpet for the past week and they are still popping up here and there. We’ve only discovered damage after the move to just one bookshelf .. but it’s still usable. Not at all surprising as we didn’t see damage to anything else in the move.

Overall the care taken with my furniture was good except the damage done to an armoire, the entire top on one side was broken off and I’m currently waiting for someone to call me in regards to this damage.

Men worked hard -29 degrees. Only complaint was they left door open many hrs and a water pipe burst due to cold house and had water damage. I would hire again. They forgot a few items but someone came out few days later and moved them.

The team really went the extra mile when it came to finding my safe and key to it (two separate boxes) which had already been packed. My lawyer called 1.5 hours before closing and said I need a legal doc for closing and boxes containing those items were packed in the truck already!
I do wish the boxes of books had been labeled by cabinet and shelf. That would have made unpacking much easier.
The broken bed piece hasn't been worked yet - two weeks later!!! Fortunately I have good friends who can remake things!!! This is the only major disappointment I have with Two Men and a Truck.
