Men worked hard -29 degrees. Only complaint was they left door open many hrs and a water pipe burst due to cold house and had water damage. I would hire again. They forgot a few items but someone came out few days later and moved them.

The team really went the extra mile when it came to finding my safe and key to it (two separate boxes) which had already been packed. My lawyer called 1.5 hours before closing and said I need a legal doc for closing and boxes containing those items were packed in the truck already!
I do wish the boxes of books had been labeled by cabinet and shelf. That would have made unpacking much easier.
The broken bed piece hasn't been worked yet - two weeks later!!! Fortunately I have good friends who can remake things!!! This is the only major disappointment I have with Two Men and a Truck.

A desk was broken, a tote was broken, a chair and some clothing had black marks on them. When the movers said we had too many things to move items were taken off the truck and laid in melt water and knocked a door at the starting property off of it's track. The movers did not tell us that they damaged things, they left us to discover what had happened.

Ciera at the office was wonderful and so easy to work with. The team that showed up to do the actual move could not have performed better given that the weather was a mix of rain and snow the morning after a snowfall of about 4”. Their attitude throughout the day was great and we all tried to keep things light given the horrible weather, so that really helped. The move team also showed that they really cared about my home and property as they laid down lots of tarps and plastic to make sure the wet weather didn’t get all over my stuff and new home. They also insisted on filling out a damage report for a small damage to a wall, so I appreciated that they wanted to make sure everything was perfect, even though, given the weather, if that was the worst thing that happened, it was nothing.

Patrick and Harper were great. Although they arrived later than I was told, they went right to work. There were a few problems once we arrived at my apartment. The 1st was my fault. They began to unload my boxes while I went to the office because my key didn't work. When I explained we were at the wrong bldg. they had to reload & were understanding. Once we got to the right bldg. they loaded my stuff in the elevator & delivered them to my apartment. They had a few pieces of furniture stacked in the elevator & an antique table fell resulting in a piece of the trim breaking off. Patrick was able to glue it back on. Harper had 3 boxes stacked on the 2-wheel dolly & the top one fell off. I am still unpacking & have not found anything broken. I would use Two Men again!

Two of the three men were brand new and training while doing my move. It took many hours longer than even the longest estimate, and cost several hundred dollars more than planned. They broke our most expensive piece of furniture. They also loaded the truck poorly and had to make a second trip to pick up 4 items they couldn't get on the truck on the first trip. Having used the company on four previous moves within our family, this was a VERY poor effort and we are terribly disappointed.

Our experience with Two Men and a Truck was absolutely horrible. First, the movers were supposed to arrive between 1 PM and 4 PM and no one showed up till well after 5. The first crew we were supposed to have never showed up and finally another team was dispatched to us. We have scratches on our hardwood from the movers, a big ding in our wall from a door being opened too far with great force, and a marble slab from our nightstand fell out and broke. This nightstand is in a pair and from a boutique in Minneapolis and one of kind. We will not be able to find a replacement so both will need to be replaced. We also had boxes clearly marked “this way up” and “fragile” and they were carried the wrong way and two decorative vases were broken and we had to rebuy from Williams Sonoma ($94)

There was a little bit of damage done to a piece of furniture that has since been monetarily settled. I just discovered another damaged area on my bedroom dresser where a door on the dresser that used to be serviceable is now too tight to open and close. Don't know how that happened and this is the first I have reported it. Other than those things, everything was fine.

The movers were great, except they put holes in the walls that we had to pay the buyers to have fixed. Some drawers were left for us to transport. They were very friendly and respected us and the house ( and they admit to putting the holes in the wall). Will have to wait to see if they reimburse us for the wall. Would use them again.

The office staff was excellent. The actual movers were pleasant and appeared to be hard working. However, it appeared to me they sometimes lacked common sense in moving items. Example, damage to some of our items could have been avoided if the worker's would have measured the openings the items were moved through. Also, covering furniture completely with blankets and wrap could have avoided additional damage. Same with moving objects across wood floors. Use something on the bottom. I am looking forward to the local office calling me regarding my damage claims. These all happened before all the items were loaded. I think with proper training. This group could do great business.
