Movers for Moms®
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Grand Rapids South, our MOVERS FOR MOMS® campaign continues to grow each year. We are proud to collect an ever-increasing amount of donations for local shelters, and it’s truly rewarding to see the joy and appreciation on the faces of the staff at Alpha Grand Rapids when we deliver all the generous contributions.
In 2024, we were thrilled to donate over 6,700 items to mothers and families in need, all made possible by the incredible generosity and support of the Grand Rapids community!
This year, we aim to donate over 7,300 items to Alpha Grand Rapids. Thanks to your generosity and our 2025 collection partners, we can do this!

Movers for Mutts®
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Grand Rapids South launched its very first Movers For Mutts® campaign in 2017, and ever since, we’ve proudly donated hundreds of items to shelters in need. Thanks to the incredible support of our Grand Rapids community, we donated over 1,000 items to Fig and Friends Pet Rescue in 2024. A special thanks goes out to our friends at EVEREVE, whose “Fashion Fundraiser” contributed an impressive $856 to support Fig and Friends!

While various organizations work to address these issues, not all focus on sustainability. Our team assists with volunteering efforts and provides moving services to support their initiatives, helping them tackle critical issues like the energy crisis, environmental sustainability, and socioeconomic disparities. Together, we’re working toward a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
Grand Rapids Civic Theatre
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® supports local traveling troupes in the Grand Rapids area by delivering their costumes and set pieces to performance venues throughout the community.
Metro Cruise
The 28th Street Metro Cruise, launched in 2005 by the Wyoming-Kentwood Area Chamber of Commerce, was created to boost business along the 28th Street corridor following the opening of M-6 in southern Grand Rapids. This highly anticipated event has become a cherished August tradition, drawing car enthusiasts and the community together year after year. We are proud to have supported the Metro Cruise for many years, providing storage and sponsorship to help keep this incredible event running smoothly!
Toys For Tots
Toys for Tots is a fantastic program that collects new toys to give to children in need as Christmas gifts! Each year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Grand Rapids South serves as a collection site for toy collection. We raise money within our office and use it to buy toys! We also provide moving service to pick up the toys in the Grand Rapids community at the end of the toy drive! This is such a great cause, and we love to support them and out local community.
