Movers for Moms®
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we believe in living out our core values every day, and the annual Movers For Moms® campaign is a reflection of that commitment. For the past ten years, this initiative has focused on providing essential care items for mothers in homeless shelters and those escaping domestic violence. Our mission is to ensure every mom feels remembered and appreciated on Mother’s Day, no matter their circumstances.
In 2024, thanks to the generosity of the Grand Rapids community, we were able to donate more than 7,500 essential items to the YWCA of West Central Michigan.
This year, we are setting our sights even higher with a goal of collecting over 8,250 items. With the support of our incredible collection partners and the community, we know we can make it happen.

Movers for Mutts®
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Comstock Park participated in its first-ever Movers For Mutts® campaign in 2017! Thanks to the support of the wonderful Grand Rapids community and local businesses, we were able to donate over 1,100 essential care items to the Humane Society of West Michigan in 2024!

Ele's Place
Ele's Place is a staple in the West Michigan community; they help children and teens deal with grief. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is lucky enough to partner with them to help set up their annual gala, "Courage, Comfort, & Cocktails" a fundraiser to support their work and for the community to learn about their mission and goals.
Girls on the Run
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is proud to partner with Girls on the Run, supporting their incredible mission to inspire and empower young girls! Over the past few years, we've had the privilege of storing supplies for their three annual races across West Michigan. This past year, we were honored to take our support a step further by handing out medals to every amazing participant at the finish line. It’s always inspiring to be part of such a meaningful event that celebrates confidence, strength, and perseverance!
Glam It Forward
In 2024, we were thrilled when Townsquare Media reached out to collaborate on a community-focused event with Mix 95.7 and Magic 104.9. With over 1,000 prom dresses in storage, we saw a unique opportunity to give back, leading to our first-ever "Glam It Forward" event!
For one special day, we transformed our warehouse into a boutique experience, where people could browse, try on, and take home beautiful dresses at no cost. The excitement was palpable as attendees lined up in the early morning and stayed with us until the event wrapped up. Our wonderful partners at Fantastic Sams even joined in, generously offering discounted up-dos and hairstyles to help make their prom day even more memorable. It was an incredible experience of community support and giving back!
John Ball Zoo
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is proud to partner with John Ball Zoo, helping to support their incredible events and ongoing projects. Our team assists with the setup, takedown, and cleanup for their annual holiday celebrations, ensuring every detail is handled so they can focus on creating memorable experiences for their visitors.
We also provide complimentary storage solutions with secure metal containers to house their records and materials for ongoing projects. For example, during "Zoo Goes Boo," they used our storage to support the event, which included a pumpkin display featuring our name that was seen by thousands of visitors.
By working together, we help John Ball Zoo bring joy to the community and inspire connections with wildlife and nature all year long.
Toys for Tots
The annual Salvation Army Toys for Tots delivers new toys at Christmas to help deliver a message of hope to the less fortunate and assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. The ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® assists Toys for Tots by picking up donations from local fire and police stations until the toys are distributed.
