I was very disappointed with the timing of my move. I was scheduled to move on a Thursday afternoon with arrival between 3 and 5 pm. I had to call the office at 430 to ask for an update as I had received no communication. At 5:15 I received a call from the movers saying they would arrive in about an hour because traffic was heavy and that I would be required to pay for the commute time. This group was also coming from a location further than the one I booked my move with. No communication was provided to me until after the fact and I was charged for this anyway. I understand being late and getting behind on schedule, but I recommend at least reaching out and communicating to the customer. Thank you!

Moving from a 2 bedroom apartment. Came an hour late. Guys came and bickered the entire time until 1 asked to be replaced. New guy showed up. He was nice but slow. 5.5 hours to load the truck. Got to new house and began seeing all of the damage that was caused as everything was unwrapped. Broke a leg off jewelry box, broke the back on my computer desk, scratched the heck out of my bed boards and entertainment center, etc. Not cheap furniture either. Finally got everything in. Started at 930am and finished at 9pm. 2 bedroom apt and almost 12 hours! New guy, at the end, was taking 1 small box or a lamp in at a time. Other guy was actually using a dolly. Ended up getting 1.5 hours taken off bill but still paid over $1k. No one ever called about any of the damage. Wouldn’t use again

Mr Porter and his crew were wonderful, went above and beyond to help us with our move. They took excellent care of our belongings and were very pleasant and professional to work with. We would definitely use this service and ask for the same crew again.
