Community Service in Kansas City

Community service has been heavily ingrained in our business model since the inception of our company. In fact, in our very first year of business, our founder Mary Ellen Sheet donated the entire year's profits to local charities. If you are involved in a local charitable organization and you think there may be a way for us to work together, please feel free to reach out!

TOYS FOR TOTS

The primary goal of the Toys for Tots program: to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them into becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. Every year our franchise helps to achieve this message by collecting toys for our youth in need!

Coats for Kids

Each year, beginning in November, drop off bins pop up at area grocery stores, dry cleaners, restaurants, and businesses collecting new and gently used coats. Over a three-month period, we collect these coats, bring them to area dry cleaners, and deliver them to local schools in Kansas City, Missouri; Kansas City, Kansas; Independence; Hickman Mills; and Center School Districts. This is a great way to give back!

A Place for Mom

We understand that moving is more than just a change of address—it’s a significant life transition, especially when it involves senior care. That’s why we’ve partnered with A Place for Mom, the nation’s leading senior living advisory service. Their local experts offer free, personalized guidance to help families explore the best care options, including assisted living, memory care, independent living, and home care.
