MOVERS WHO CARE IN ROCKFORD, IL
Community Service at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Rockford, IL:
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Rockford, community involvement means a lot to us. From the very beginning, our crew has focused on giving back to our local community. We live here, work here, and move our lovely customers here. Our community is what makes the Rockford and surrounding areas thrive. Our team proudly lives by our motto of being the Movers Who Care®.
Our commitment to making a difference shows when our teams get to participate in local events, donation campaigns, and lending a helping hand when needed. Each year we partner with local nonprofits to provide resources, raise awareness, and services when needed.
movers for moms®
One of our biggest campaigns is our annual Movers for Moms drive. This campaign was created to support mothers in need. Every Spring, our movers collect essential care items for Remedies Renewing Lives. With the help of our community partners we're able to collect and deliver necessity items to mothers in our local community.
MOVERS FOR MUTTS®
Another large campaign we do is called Movers for Mutts. We run this campaign every fall to help PAWS Humane Society. We collect items like dog food, cat food, toys, blankets, and cleaning supplies. All donations go towards supporting the shelter's efforts to finding these pets their forever homes.
While our campaigns are the biggest ways we give back every year. We also support local events, donate raffle baskets for auctions, and volunteer when we can. Our team enjoys giving back to our community every year.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
ROCKFORD Movers for Moms®
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Rockford, we believe in the power of giving back. Our community means everything to us, and we are committed to making a meaningful impact. One of the ways we proudly support those in need is through our Movers for Moms® campaign, an initiative dedicated to helping mothers facing difficult circumstances. Every year, we contact Remedies Renewing Lives to see what items are in need.
Remedies Renewing Lives offers essential support to adults battling addiction, providing them with the care and resources they need to heal. In addition, they extend critical services to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and their children or vulnerable family members, ensuring they receive protection and assistance during these difficult times.
Your donations are essential in supporting Remedies Renewing Lives as they continue to help those in need. Each donation partner and each donation make a meaningful impact, providing essential support to individuals in need. Our community was able to come together and collect 3,000 essential care items this year. We are so grateful for everyone that participated in our Movers for Moms® campaign.

Movers For Meals®
We're once again hosting our national MOVERS FOR MEALS® program! This program aims to provide food and other essential items for homeless shelters leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday. We are donating all items collected to the Rockford Rescue Mission(opens in a new window). The mission focuses on feeding the homeless and those in need in our community. The past 18 months have been particularly hard on everyone but have disproportionately impacted low-income families and the homeless population.
Last year we were able to collect over 100 pounds of food and would love to beat that number this year! If you'd like to donate, you can stop by our office or any of the locations below. You can also give your items to your movers on moving day!
- Dolphin Swim Club(opens in a new window) of Loves Park
- Edward Jones Investments(opens in a new window) (Maren Sanders)
- Image Lounge & Restaurant(opens in a new window)
- Target on 173(opens in a new window)

spreading holiday cheer in rockford:
In November 2024 we had the opportunity to run our first TRUCKLOAD OF WARMTH® donation campaign! This was an additional opportunity for us to help out our local Rockford community!!
Yolanda from Rockford Housing Authority contacted us, about wanting to surprise her residents with some holiday cheer and warm gear! We were excited to help out by collecting winter donations and other necessities for her residents. Yolanda is an amazing Resident Support Specialist for North Main Manor and Olesen Plaza. She wanted to be able to give her residents a positive boost for the holiday season. She noticed many of her residents spend their holidays alone, and many of them are in need of necessities. Seeing this, she hoped to be able to gift them with warm items, lotions, soaps, and other necessities. So, we came up with a plan to collect donations for her residents. Yolanda truly cares about all her residents, and you can tell just by her interactions with everyone. She is truly an amazing person! The collection of these items would not have been possible without her reaching out to our team.
It was our honor to run our first TRUCKLOAD OF WARMTH® campaign to help residents at the Rockford Housing Authority! We were able to collect so many necessities for the residents of North Main Manor and Olesen Plaza. Our first TRUCKLOAD OF WARMTH® campaign went better than we could have imagined!! We had the opportunity to surprise the residents at Olesen Plaza and North Main Manor in Rockford with much-needed cozy, warm, and winter friendly items just before Christmas!
Midland States Bank and Spring Creek United Church of Christ helped us collect so many donations for our TRUCKLOAD OF WARMTH® campaign! We are so grateful for them!! We hope that these donations brought joy to those in North Main Manor and Olesen Plaza! And we can't wait to see how many donations we collect for them this year!
