Movers for Moms®

Movers for Moms®  is an annual community program with a mission of giving back to mothers in need each Mother’s Day. Each year our objective is to provide women living in domestic abuse shelters with essential items such as soap, toothpaste, food, etc. For our sixth consectutive year, our collection drive will benefit the clients of Remedies Renewing Lives of Rockford, IL.

Our 2017 Spring campaign was a record breaking year! With the help of all of our sponsors and the generousity of our community, we were able to collect over 7,500 items!

Movers for Mutts®

Movers for Mutts® is an annual fall community outreach program with the objective to provide animals living in shelters with necessary items such as food, distilled water, cat litter, cleaning supplies, pet toys, and other essential items. PAWS Humane Society of Rockford will be the recipient of all of the donations we receive for our 2018 collection drive. .

Thank you to our 2018 community partners that will host a collection drive box:  The Canine CruncheryWoodmans,  Peak Sports ClubGrays FoodsHillcrest Animal Hospital, Schnucks on Harlem, Bark on Mulford, F&F Tire World, and Tire Depot.
You can begin filling their collection drive box on September 18th! We will pick up all collection drive boxes on October 23rd and deliver them to PAWS on October 25th.  If you would like to join us in our efforts- please contact Nicole Christensen at

Local Partners


Remedies offers case management, education, advocacy, and emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. Remedies’ shelter is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and all our domestic violence services are free.
