TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Midwest Shelter For Homeless Veterans

Movers for Military

In the fall TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® chose to find a way to give back to those who have given so much to our country. Many of our military veterans are homeless or in great need of support. Veterans Day is a time to thank our veterans for their sacrifice and service to our country. Statistics from the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans show that about one third of the adult homeless population in the U.S. is veterans.

To show our appreciation to veterans past and present and in honor of Veteran's Day, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK hosted its Movers for Military collection drive.  Many businesses and organizations helped collect essential items to be distributed to homeless veterans through the Midwest Shelter For Homeless Veterans in Wheaton, Illinois. We partnered with the Greater LaGrange YMCA, Elmhurst YMCA, Berwyn Public Library, Morgan Stanley, Orland Township, Joliet Public Library, and Shorewood-Troy Public Library.  Over 600 items were collected and delivered in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Local Partners

American Cancer Society

Every year a percentage of each move is contributed to the American Cancer Society. Team members at all four Chicago locations are thrilled to particpate in giving back to the comunity.  We regularly donate boxes to local churches and perform charity moves.
