Movers with strong community roots

Keeping in contact with local community leaders in the business and government sectors has helped our reputation grow. We count our membership in Elmhurst and other Chambers of Commerce as valuable points of contact with local businesses and customers.  In addition to staying in touch with the community we serve, we are actively involved in many charitable endeavors.  Currently we are collecting donations for a homeless veterans program.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Military

In appreciation to all veterans, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Elmhurst  launched its Movers for Military collection drive to provide much needed items to homeless veterans. We partnered with local community and business organizations to collect donations for the Midwest Shelter For Homeless Veterans in Wheaton, Illinois. We collected over 600 items and delivered in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We have deep gratitude to the following organizations for generously contributing their time and efforts:

Greater LaGrange YMCA, Elmhurst YMCA, Berwyn Public Library, Morgan Stanley, Orland Township, Joliet Public Library, Shorewood-Troy Public Library

Movers for Moms®

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, one of our company’s core values is giving back to the community. Our dedication to these ideals has allowed us to grow and give back even more to the communities we serve. We participate in the annual Movers for Moms effort, in which we partner with local businesses to collect donations for women in need, including Family Shelter Service in Wheaton(opens in a new window), Crisis Center for South Suburbia in Orland Park, Guardian Angel Community Center in Shorewood and PILLARS in LaGrange Park. We also regularly donate boxes to local churches and perform charity moves for the Midwest Homeless Veterans Shelter and other worthy organizations.

Local Partners

American Cancer Society

The tremendous success of Movers for Moms® prompted us to get involved with another worthy cause: The fight against breast cancer. In October 2014, we raised $1,000 by donating $5 for every Customer Response card we received from completed moves. The money was given to the local American Cancer Society. Our entire team is dedicated to increasing that amount each year going forward!
