We can help you in different ways, from arranging large furniture items like a media console or china cabinet, or even preparing for a remodel by moving your furniture and appliances into another area of your home or business. Have you purchased furniture, electronics, or appliances and you’re unsure how to bring them home (or back to the retailer for a return)? Are you a retailer who would like to provide high-touch delivery service, but you lack the infrastructure to do it yourself? We can help! We perform deliveries of all types. Our customers rely on us to deliver purchases from big retailers like R.C. Willey, Costco, and as well as special items from boutiques, Craigslist, auctions, and estate sales. Our low hourly minimums with no additional fees makes us a great fit for your delivery needs. We pad and stretch-wrap all items for free, so your unpackaged purchases will arrive safely.

Moving into an apartment, condo or townhouse? We can help! We are fully licensed and bonded and can meet insurance qualifications that your building or HOA may require. As the specialists in Downtown moves, we understand the challenges of moving into and out of high-rise buildings. We have a variety of truck sizes that make it easier to park in tight locations. We'll comply with your building's elevator windows, and use door jamb protectors and floor runners to protect your building. We have state of the art equipment to move your belongings safely.
LONG-DISTANCE MOVING SERVICES
We offer two options for your long-distance moving needs. Each option includes the exclusive use of our truck or container so that your belongings are not mixed with another customer's items. Trained, professional TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® movers will pad and stretch-wrap your belongings for their protection, load them onto our truck and unload them at the new location. You are provided a two-day unload window so that you can plan ahead.
EXPEDITED
Like a local move, your belongings are loaded onto our 26-foot truck, which we drive directly to your new home without making pick-ups or drop-offs along the way. This is a popular option for customers moving to neighboring states like Arizona, Nevada and Oregon. Expedited service is the fastest option we provide.
CRATED MOVING SERVICES
Our crated long-distance moving service is a quick, cost-effective option for customers with small moves of 3,000 lbs. or less. We protect and safely load your belongings into a specialized shipping crate, which we ship to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® location near your new home using a third-party carrier. The local TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® office will deliver your belongings to your new home at your convenience. This is ideal for moving one room or a few furniture items.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need to be present for movers?
We do recommend that someone is present during the move. Our movers will have questions that need to be addressed quickly and the homeowner needs to provide input when the truck is unloading items into the home.
What do you do while Movers are packing?
Moving to a new location can be stressful. Our moving team can assist with packing your belongings a few days before move day and stage your home to get ready to load the truck. Prior to move day customers often dismantle bed frames, disconnect refrigerator. Pack medications, firearms, and alcohol in their own vehicles. Load lawnmowers and tools that have fuel on to their own trailers.
You can offer refreshments to your movers. Try to stay out of the moving area while they are working, they have a method to loading the truck to maximize space and to avoid damages. You can clean spaces as they become empty. Don’t hesitate to talk to your move team if you have questions, they will communicate with you throughout move day.
What Packing Supplies Do I need?
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, has reusable totes that can be rented for the move. Additionally, we have moving boxes in a variety of sizes, including TV boxes to protect the TV. Customers should have tape and bubble wrap or some type of wrapping to protect delicate items. Label all boxes to make it easier for the movers to place them in the correct location when they unload the truck. Don’t overpack boxes, if they are too heavy, items may fall out the bottom of the box, or the sides of the box may break during moving.
How far in advance should I book my move?
We recommend scheduling 3 to 4 weeks ahead, especially during peak summer or end-of-month periods, to secure your preferred date. Boise's rapid growth means moving demand stays high year-round, so the earlier you book, the better.

Do you have other services?
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK provides packing services, our team comes a few days before the scheduled move to pack the customers belongings and stage the home ready for move day. We have junk removal services to haul off unwanted items before the move or for general clean up at the customers property. We also have storage containers that can be dropped off at the customers home and stored at our location. We have crate containers for small interstate or regional moves.
