Movers for Moms®
Our Savannah crew is excited to participate in the annual Movers for Moms® campaign. First launched in 2007, the Movers for Moms® program seeks to recognize moms and children in crisis on Mother’s Day by arranging delivery of gifts to women and children living in local shelters over the holiday weekend. By teaming up with local organizations to collect items, we were able to deliver hundreds of gifts to a local shelter last year. This year is going to be an even bigger year for the program! Giving back to the community has been a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® mission since its first year in operation.  We are also honored to be part of the Susan G. Movers for Moms®

Every year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Locations host an annual donation drive called Movers for Moms®. This drive seeks to recognize mothers and women in crisis on Mother’s Day by arranging special delivery of essential care items to women living in local shelters.

This year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Savannah is collecting donations to benefit women and mothers in need through SAFE Shelter. We're asking for your help by donating these valuable essential care items and helping to make Mother's Day special for women in need, right here in our community. Items can be donated between 3/11 and 5/8, with all donations being delivered to the shelter the Friday before Mother's Day.

This year, the most needed items on SAFE Shelter's Wish List include:

  • Personal hygiene items
  • Ethnic Hair care products
  • Perfume 
  • Bath sets
  • Bonnet-style Shower caps
  • Scarves
  • Umbrellas
  • Journals
  • Wallets
  • Jewelry
  • Make-up
  • Nail polish
  • Self-help and motivational books
  • Aprons
  • Cookbooks
  • Wall plug-ins
  • Night lights
  • Tumbler cups

We encourage you to participate in this special program by dropping off your donations at one of the following locations between now and Mother's Day, May 12th:

Movers for Mutts

Movers for Mutts is a program created by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in an effort to help local animal shelters support and foster stray animals. This program is hosted each fall and partners with local businesses, schools, and organizations to collect food, toys, and other essential items pets may need.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure has had a major impact the fight against breast cancer.  Its advocacy in education, research and services and support programs has transformed how the world talks about and treats breast cancer and has helped turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.  TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Savannah is honored to be part of the Coastal Georgia Affliate each year by helping to set up, distribute meals to the hundreds of volunteers each day, set up water stations for the runners, and whatever else they need us to do.  We look forward to serving them each year!

It is an honor to be recognized in this light and a huge testament to our wonderful staff who work so hard to provide every customer with the best possible moving experience.
