We know all too well that moving is a stressful event for everyone. It's easy to feel displaced and out of sorts during the packing, relocating, and unpacking process. It's all about how you prepare that can make the most significant difference in making your next move the easiest one yet! We've compiled some of our favorite tips to help your next move go smoothly:
1. Declutter before packing. Embrace the opportunity to rid yourself of any unused or unwanted items. This not only helps you focus but also reduces the time and effort needed to move the things you do want to keep, leaving you feeling more organized and relieved.
2. Plan where you would like your furniture to go in your new place. If possible, take measurements and ensure furniture fits through doorways and tight corners. Have a backup plan for these items if they don't fit.
3. Make the proper arrangements to be present for the entirety of the move. Your presence is crucial as team members often need your direction for packing, special care for your items, and unloading. Being there to answer questions ensures you're in control and responsible for a smooth move.
4. Make a move-day box! Include towels, cleaning products, toilet paper, water, snacks, extra light bulbs, scissors, medicines, trash bags, and essential documents.
5. Be sure to schedule the utility transfer ahead of the big day. It's hard to move in the dark!
6. Plan ahead! Scheduling your service day at least 3-4 weeks in advance not only ensures the best availability but also gives you ample time to make arrangements and pack. This preparation will leave you feeling confident and ready for your move.
7. Try to limit as many loose items as possible. Vacuums, floor lamps, toys, and decorative items are often forgotten. Be sure to check drawers, closets, and cabinets.

Um for instance, for addresses and things like that or like even getting like carpet shield down for them just to make sure that their homes protected.
It's not um it's not a good thing to have them in the, in the dark about things.
