Serving Our Little Rock Community

Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Little Rock we believe we have a responsibility to help and support the communities where we live and work, and we must lead by example.

As an added benefit, it is nice to know we are making a difference – no matter how big or small the action. We have joined various networking groups within our community, such as the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, Little Rock Regional Chamber, and are active members of the Better Business Bureau . We also participate in local charity events to assist nonprofit organizations, one specifically being the Women & Children First of Little Rock.

Featured Community Service

Immerse Arkansas

Immerse is one of our favorite charities to work with. They help kids who are graduating out of the foster system start their lives as adults. Furniture pieces are the main items needed when these young adults take the big leap.

L.O.V.E

Let Our Violence End or L.O.V.E., is a nonprofit that takes donations and sends them out all over the region. They have a food pantry, space to store furniture, and whole rooms full of household goods. They pride themselves on the work they do with people re-entering society. Any furniture/items that our clients donate to them go directly to a good home.

OUR HOUSE

OUR HOUSE

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK North Little Rock has been working with Our House for several years in an effort to help serve our community through volunteerism and charity. Our House's mission is to empower homeless and near-homeless families and individuals to succeed in the workforce, in school, and in life through hard work, wise decision-making, and active participation in the community. Outside of cause-marketing campaigns, the partnership with Our House has afforded the opportunity to rehabilitate many of the residents and offer employment to those available within our company as movers and drivers.

Restore Hope

Restore Hope has been one of our main donation partners. They help families in times of tragedies or trauma as well as working with the families to stay together during these times. They also work with re-entry programs and women trying to escape abusive situations. Anything donated to them goes directly to a good home locally.

Women and Children First

Women and Children First is a nonprofit that works with women and children who are leaving abusive situations. They accept any donations, especially things like clothes and personal products for women.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Moms®

“Each spring, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchises across the U.S. join to support mothers in need through Movers for Moms®. Most partner with local shelters that provide services and support to women and children who are victims of domestic assault and homelessness and living in shelters. The purpose of the program is to recognize these moms this Mother’s Day.  At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Little Rock, we extend this support all year long by donating gently used home furnishings to organizations such as Women and Children First, Saline County Safe Haven, and Restore Hope. These organizations are helping women get back on their feet by arranging housing for them and their children. Our donations provide comfort and a sense of stability.

In 2023, the entire TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system collected over 443,000 donated items for moms in need across the country; and since the beginning of the Movers for Moms® program 17 years ago, more than 2,000,000 items have been donated! “

Local Partners

Downtown Little Rock Partnership

The Downtown Partnership does a lot of events to highlight Little Rock's best attributes. We work with them as much as we can to set up some of these events. If you are ever looking for a good time, check out their website for upcoming events!

habitat restore

Habitat for Humanity Restore®

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Little Rock has partnered with our local Habitat for Humanity Restores (opens in a new window)for many years now, remaining true to our core values of giving back to the community through service and volunteerism. Habitat ReStores are home improvement stores that accept donations of new or gently used: furniture, appliances, housewares, much more. Once a residential move is completed, any items that customers no longer want will be donated and transported to our local Restore center, and later given to families in need. All proceeds from the sales of these items help Habitat's work within our local community and around the world.
