Serving Our Little Rock Community

Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Little Rock we believe we have a responsibility to help and support the communities where we live and work, and we must lead by example.

As an added benefit, it is nice to know we are making a difference – no matter how big or small the action. We have joined various networking groups within our community, such as the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, Little Rock Regional Chamber, and are active members of the Better Business Bureau . We also participate in local charity events to assist nonprofit organizations, one specifically being the Women & Children First of Little Rock.

Movers for Meals

To help support local families facing hunger crises around the country, our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK location will be hosting the Movers for Meals® food drive this fall 2018. This year, we have decided to partner with a local charity within the Little Rock area in our effort to "Move the Rock Forward". In this charity effort, we plan to collect non-perishable food items with the goal of putting more food on tables for all of our community members within Little Rock. We are so excited to be hosting this amazing campaign this year!

Movers for Moms®

Each spring, our franchise is proud to participate within the national Movers for Moms® campaign. Beginning in early March, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Little Rock partners with local businesses to collect essential care items for women and children who are victims of domestic assault and homelessness. Every mother should feel loved, appreciated, and special on Mother's Day - and we work to ensure that our local mothers truly know that their local community appreciates them despite their situation. The items collected will be delivered to our benefiting foundation, Women & Children First on/before Mother's Day. In 2018, the entire TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system collected over 365,000 donation items for moms in need across the country; and since the beginning of the Mover For Moms® program, we have collected over 1,000,000 items!

Habitat for Humanity Restore®

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Little Rock has partnered with our local Habitat for Humanity Restores for many years now, remaining true to our core values of giving back to the community through service and volunteerism. Habitat ReStores are home improvement stores that accept donations of new or gently used: furniture, appliances, housewares, much more. Once a residential move is completed, any items that customers no longer want will be donated and transported to our local Restore center, and later given to families in need. All proceeds from the sales of these items help Habitat's work within our local community and around the world.

OUR HOUSE

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK North Little Rock has been working with Our House for several years in an effort to help serve our community through volunteerism and charity. Our House's mission is to empower homeless and near-homeless families and individuals to succeed in the workforce, in school, and in life through hard work, wise decision-making, and active participation in the community. Outside of cause-marketing campaigns, the partnership with Our House has afforded the opportunity to rehabilitate many of the residents and offer employment to those available within our company as movers and drivers.
