TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® enters agreement with Michigan State University to offer students spring moving and storage solutions

Apr 25, 2016

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® knows a thing or two about college moving. In fact, more than 30 years ago, the two original stickmen, Brig Sorber and Jon Sorber, were college students themselves, doing local moves for book and spending money.

Today, knowing the all-important task of saving college students money and simplifying the college moving process, from packing to moving up and down several floors in residence halls, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has teamed up with Michigan State University for this spring’s residence hall move out for summer break, and for fall move in. By entering an agreement with the university, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is offering students an all-inclusive package with a special rate for moves out of and into their residence halls, and storage of their belongings in the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® warehouse during summer break. Additionally, international or out-of-state students will have the opportunity to ship their items to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Lansing warehouse for storage of their items until they can move into their new residence this fall.

"It’s been a rewarding experience working with MSU to identify the needs of the university and we’re prepared to provide students and their parents with a solution to the stressful task of moving into and out of a residence hall," said President Randy Shacka. "Michigan State University and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® are often recognized in the surrounding area as long-time leaders in their missions, the community, and in meeting and exceeding expectations. It is an exciting time to see this program come together to fulfill a growing need for our leaders of tomorrow."
