Over the years, along with our Midlothian office, we managed to collect hundreds of essential care items for mothers and women in need right here in Richmond. We are so grateful for the generosity of our previous donation collection partner sites around the area for hosting boxes and promoting the drive. We're asking everyone to #MakeYourMotherProud again this year and donate these essential care items to women in need in honor of Mother's Day.
Local Partners
FEEDMORE
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond proudly announce our newest Community Partnership with FeedMore! In late 2017, we partnered with Feedmore due to our commitment to upholding one of our company's Core Values, Giving Back to the Community. As an ongoing endeavor, we offer our services to FeedMore by assisting in often heavy and multi-location food donation pickups around the greater Richmond area. FeedMore is Central Virginia’s core hunger relief organization dedicated to providing healthy meals and hope for a better tomorrow for Central Virginians who struggle with hunger. Through our network of more than 300 partner agencies and comprehensive programs, we provide our neighbors in need with one of the most necessities: nourishment. For more information on FeedMore and how to help, please visit FeedMore.org.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
We're proud to support the American Cancer Society at their annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Richmond! Having the opportunity to give back to the community and organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, by donating our time and manpower to aid in event setup and support is just one way we help to give back to our Richmond community.
The Pace of Richmond
We're proud to partner with The Pace of Richmond, part of the Keller Williams Richmond West branch. The Pace of Richmond is a licensed realty group that provides residential and investment properties for buyers and sellers in the Greater Richmond area. We've developed a great relationship with their excellent team of agents, and they proudly participate in our Realtor Referral Program, which allows the agents to present their clients with a discount on their next move. We've also attended several of their events and have spoken at agent training sessions, where we educate new agents on the importance of hiring the right moving company and the moving process as a whole. We're thankful for their continued partnership!
Virginia Home for Boys & Girls
Since the beginning of 2024, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Richmond has assisted the Virginia Home for Boys & Girls (VHBG) by picking up all food donations provided through the Central Virginia Food Bank and delivering them directly to the VHBG every Monday.
The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls has been dedicated to helping youth in crisis since 1846. While it began as an orphanage, the VHBG now provides an array of mission-aligned services for young people, families, and the community. As a nonprofit organization, they offer various services to support young people with emotional and behavioral health concerns, including transitional living, specialized education, and therapeutic resources.
We're thankful for the opportunity to partner with such a wonderful organization and grateful for everything they do to help our community here in greater Richmond.
