Meet your CHARLOTTESVILLE Team

The people you see on this page are the reason TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Charlottesville has earned its reputation. From Scott's multi-unit leadership and nearly a decade and a half of law enforcement discipline to Bryan's company-wide Safest Driver recognition to Nyk's 580-plus moves with a perfect referral rate, this team takes the work seriously and never takes shortcuts. They're background-checked, professionally trained, and held to the same national standards that have made TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® a trusted name across the country. But more than any credential, what you'll notice when our crew shows up at your door is that these are people who genuinely care about doing the job right; for you, for your home, and for each other. That's not something you train into people. It's something you hire for, and we're proud of who we've found right here in Charlottesville.

Meet Our Team

Originally from Florida, Scott moved to the Charlottesville area with his wife in 2019 and has been a key member of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team since 2023. After successfully serving as General Manager in Charlottesville, Scott has been promoted to Multi-Unit General Manager, now overseeing both the Charlottesville and Richmond, VA locations. With 14 years of law enforcement experience and extensive leadership roles across Alaska and Hawaii, Scott brings a strong background in safety, DOT compliance, and customer-focused operations. He holds two master’s degrees, one in Business Management and one in Organizational Psychology, which support his thoughtful, structured approach to team development and service excellence. Scott’s passion for people and processes drives him to deliver a seamless moving experience for every customer while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture. Outside of work, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, hiking, traveling, exploring local restaurants, or tinkering with electronics.

Chief

Chief Morale Officer

Chief

Meet Chief, our four-legged ball of joy and official Chief Morale Officer here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Charlottesville! When he's not making the rounds for head pats and hugs, he’s busy boosting team spirit, greeting customers, and occasionally supervising moves (usually with a snack delivery in tow). Chief is powered by Oreos, belly rubs, and pure excitement. He proudly rocks his bandana uniform each morning, knows when it’s time to “go to work,” and isn’t shy about talking to the crew with a mix of yawns, grunts, and tail wags. Whether he’s snoring like a chainsaw in the office or keeping an eye on the kids next door at the Kung Fu school, Chief’s presence is guaranteed to bring smiles.

The guys were supper nice. I appreciate the care and consideration for fragile items as well as their strength for getting heavy item upstairs!

stars

These 3 men were helpful and patient. Every time I needed something moved they were quick to help and were always polite. They were not just careful with the furniture but with the walls and doorways. This is a company has come a long way since inception and I am glad I used them again. When I used them 6 years ago they weren't as big and it wasn't as streamlined. Good job all around!

stars

I can highly recommend Two Men and a Truck for your moving needs. The two man crew, Ashton and Drew arrived in time. They got to work immediately and were extremely efficient and careful with my furniture and belongings. They were very polite and friendly while working nonstop. The whole move went smoothly!

stars

Men arrived exactly on time. They were competent and careful.

stars

The crew was fantastic, handling challenges with extremely heavy and/or oversize items with skill and enthusiasm. They also reassured me that the loose items and overflowing boxes were no problem, which brought peace of mind. Two of the guys had been on a crew helping me move last year. It was great to see them back, and the fact that they remembered me made me feel like a valued customer.

stars

Josh and Travis were awesome! They were so fast and professional. They took great care of my things and communicated with each other very well. They worked so hard to ensure my things fit into my storage unit safely. The office team was awesome too! They made the whole process smooth and easy. I even needed to reschedule and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend!!
