As Plano’s “Movers Who Care®”, we are committed to making our community a better place. We pride ourselves on our donated time and efforts to local nonprofits around the Dallas metroplex and do everything we can to aid those in need. From cleaning supply drives to delivering hospital care packages, our team is dedicated to having a positive impact in the lives of those around us. Our 2022 MOVERS FOR MILITARY® donation drive ran from the beginning of October until Veteran’s Day (November 11th, 2022). This year all physical and monetary donations collected went to the Homeless Veteran Services of Dallas, to support displaced and homeless veterans across the DFW metroplex. We would like to thank the following businesses for their support during our drive: Prosperity Bank Addison, The Horses Axe Denton & Dennison, Signarama Denton, Farmers Insurance Coleman Martin, Nutrition With Attitude,EJ Wils Gastropub, and Embassey Suites Denton. Together we donated 2 pallets of water bottles, and 9 boxes of food-related essentials equaling 5,000 individual items, winter accessories, and essential care items.
Movers For Moms® is our annual donation drive to help mothers in need. We have given tens of thousands of essential care items to local women's shelters in the Dallas area - such as Genesis Shelter & Hope's Door. We understand that women's shelters go through a lot of their essential care items very quickly - items such as soap, brushes, and shampoo - so every year we have a huge collection drive to help fill up a local women's shelter supply closet so they are ready to take on the people who come to them for help. MOVERS FOR MOMS® 2022
Starting April 1st, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK will kick off our Moving for Moms® campaign benefitting Hopes Door New Beginning Center. Our collection sites will be open for donations from April 1st – May 6th. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will then deliver all the collected items to the shelter.

It has been over a decade since TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Dallas started our partnership with Hope’s Door New Beginning Center. Located in the heart of Plano, Hope’s Door helps women and families affected by domestic and family abuse. Hope’s Door also collects donated clothing, used furniture, and other household items at their re-sale shop in Plano, TX. This year our Movers for Moms® donation drive collected 1,800 items for the women and children at their shelters. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County is one of the many 501(c)(3) nonprofits that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has supported over the years. Their mission is to provide the youth of Collin County with the resources needed to reach their full potential. During the pandemic, the Clubs were running short on the necessary disinfectant items needed to keep the locations sanitized and safe for the attending children. We were more than happy to host a cleaning supply drive and with the help of other local businesses and a generous community, we collected hundreds of donations. We love supporting this organization!
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Dallas had the pleasure of donating our moving services to Cheeriodicals to deliver "Boxes of Cheer" to local hospitals in North Texas. Cheeriodicals teams up with local companies to pack and personalize their "Boxes of Cheer" to deliver to those in need. So far this year we have delivered boxes to Medical City Children's Hospital, Cook Children's Medical Center, & Scottish Rite for Children. We are thrilled to be in partnership with such a wonderful company! We look forward to delivering more " Boxes of Cheer" in the coming months!
For over 10 years, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Plano has been partnering with Toys for Tots on their mission to ensure that each child in Collin County has a toy to open during the holidays. We are proud to give our time, trucks, and manpower to such a worthy cause that has helped so many. Standing alongside the United States Marines collecting toys for the children of our community is an honor that we'll forever be thankful for.
