(WYFF) GREENVILLE, S.C. —
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is running a collection to benefit residents at the emergency shelter Shepherd’s Gate(opens in a new window) in Greenville, which helps women and children escape homelessness, addiction, and abuse.
For the annual Movers for Moms® program, the moving company has set up donation boxes around the Upstate. They are asking people to drop off comfort items including full-sized body wash, deodorant, soap and shampoo.
Rebecca Feldman, the owner of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Greenville, said the items that are collected would be delivered to the women just in time for Mother's Day.
"We are simply a vehicle of getting items to these women. We hope that everyone will embrace the fact that we should care for all. Our tagline is 'The movers who care.' So we just really want to provide that extra special little item on Mother's Day to help these women feel special," Feldman said.
