I have been a part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® team since December 2013 and I have really enjoyed my time here. Moving can be one of the bigger stresses people go through in life, so it's great to be able to take away a huge chunk of that stress. I started out managing our social media and handling online requests, where I would have people everyday tell me how impressed they are with our service and our movers. That’s probably my favorite part of being here – knowing that all of us, outside the office and inside, are performing at our best. It’s what makes us such a great team! These days, a majority my is spent assisting our interior design clients, managing storage needs, and working on the accounting side of things her in the office. When it's time to put the work down, I like to create - cooking, painting, drawing - anything with my hands. I also enjoy relaxing and spending time with my amazing family as much as I possibly can.

I started at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in December 2018 as the Warehouse Manager and working closely with our designer services department. I did furniture upholstery for three years before coming here, and before I got into the upholstery business, I worked for a pharmaceutical company as the operations manager for ten years. Turns out my love of logistics and upholstery was a perfect fit with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. My favorite part of working here so far has to be the atmosphere that we keep. We’re family oriented and very hungry to grow the company the right way.

Outside of the company nothing brings me more joy than to be with my wife, Katie, and our son, Jackson. We, as a family, love nothing more than to be outside, whether it be camping, hiking, or kayaking.

I started with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in August 2015 as a customer service representative. I spent two wonderful years moving people forward before taking a two year break to explore the Pacific Northwest. After moving back home, I knew there was nowhere else I’d rather be! The emphasis that the entire staff puts on being a team makes me excited to come to work every morning. We’re all here to give our customers the best experience possible and it’s truly reflected in the office atmosphere! When I’m away from the office I enjoy spending my time hammocking by the river, supporting local bands in Columbia, and bragging about my cat, Arthur.”

I started with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team in September of 2018 and came here following a thirty year career with the South Carolina Dept. of Public Safety. After retiring, I knew that I wanted to go back into the work force primarily because I missed the social engagement. When researching several employment opportunities, it was the core values that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK live by that led me here. Giving back to the community, having compassion for family, customers, coworkers, and the community we are a part of are all core values that speak to my own sense of personal responsibility.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling and shopping, and I love to visit the beach whenever possible.

"I started with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in October of 2018 as a Mover. My favorite part of working with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is our team. Everyone from the office, management, and movers. Every day I learn something from experienced and new members alike. Their patience and training take what is considered by most to be a hard job, and make it a lot easier and enjoyable. I'm proud to be a part of a great team. - On my off time, I spend it with my family. We either get together and have dinner or hang around the pool or zoo."

I’ve been here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK since May of 2017. Whether it’s connecting with the family we have in the office or with the customers, my time here has been defined by the feeling of being a part of something bigger than myself and making positive change in people’s lives. Outside of the office, I’m studying international affairs at the University of South Carolina and am an avid reader. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, Marley.

Since joining the team here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in April 2016, I have seen a new level of customer service that I have never seen before. The thing I love most about working for this company is the constant urgency in the office and in the warehouse to make sure our customers know that we truly care about their moving experience. I’ve learned that each customer is a different experience, and each customer has a different story to tell. In my free time I enjoy taking road trips with my friends, working on my art, and collecting records by my favorite artists.

Searching for something different, I came across an ad in the local newspaper in October of 1996 hiring for drivers. The pay rate was appealing and I thought “I can make that an hour and all I have to do is drive a truck”. I guess I should have read the fine print! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is a moving company and they work hard for a living. Fortunately, I am the son of a Marine and my father always taught me the value of hard work, taking pride in what you do and never accepting anything short of perfection, so moving furniture was easy compared to what I was accustomed to. I quickly fell in love with the satisfaction you can get out of working hard and helping move people forward at a stressful time in their life.

That was the start of a great journey through every aspect of this business. I worked as a mover/driver for over five years before being promoted to an office staff position as a customer service representative. From there, it was Training, Fleet Safety, In-Home Consultant, Assistant Manager, Claims Manager, Manager and now General Manager. This is my home away from home and I enjoy coming to a place every day where I can make a difference!
