Moving Services
Long Distance Moving
Moving can be stressful, and the thought of the logistics of a long-distance move can feel even more overwhelming. Thankfully, we can help!
Our trained professionals can walk you through the two options we offer. Our expedited service is very similar to our local moving service in that our trained professionals show up at your home on moving day, pad and stretch wrap all of your belongings, load them onto the truck, drive them to your new home and then unload them for you, placing them exactly where you would like them to go.
VALUE FLEX® CARDBOARD CRATES
This option is perfect for smaller out-of-state moves where you may be relocating into an apartment or dorm room. We work with a third-party carrier to ship cardboard crates filled with your belongings – which are padded and stretch-wrapped – to the franchise closest to your new address. They will receive the items and then deliver them to your new home. This can be a more affordable option for smaller moves and still includes the same care and attention to detail as our expedited service.
Business Moves
Our frontline professionals are trained to move your business with minimal interruption to your day-to-day functions. We can assemble and disassemble your workstations, cubicles, bookcases, printer stations, and more. We will carefully pad and stretch wrap all your office furnishings and get them safely moved and set up in your new location so that you can continue to do what you do best. Don't need the truck, just the help? No problem! We can move you from one floor to another or switch out old workstations to make room for new ones and get you set up and running in no time. Our frontline professionals love moving people forward and do it with the best attitude!
Internal Moves
We are happy to arrive at your home to help rearrange furniture and remove unwanted or old heavy items such as appliances, mattresses, exercise equipment, or sofas. We can get them safely to the curb for your garbage company to pick up or if you would like them to go to a donation site, we can make the drop-off for you. At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we are here to help with all your heavy lifting needs.
Apartment Moves/Dorm Rooms
We love stairs! Your 3rd-floor apartment doesn't scare us. Freight elevators and small spaces are something we are used to navigating on a daily basis, so let us put our professionalism to work for you. We will have you out of the old and into the new in no time at all.
If you’re a college student and need assistance moving your belongings into your new dorm room or fraternity/sorority house, give us a call. We are used to college campuses, crowded move-in days, and waiting on freight elevators. We are happy to help you start the new year off right!
Boxes and Packing Supplies
At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we offer our own line of boxes and packing supplies. You can order online and we are happy to deliver for free on orders totaling $100 or more. You can also stop in and pick them up and we will get them loaded into your vehicle for you. Our prices are very competitive, and we have many specialty boxes for TVs, dishes, and pictures. We also have mattress bags for twin, queen, and king-sized mattresses, and box springs. We have everything you need to safely move your household items.
Packing Services
Packing an entire house with all of the family heirlooms and treasured belongings you have collected over the years can seem like a daunting task. Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, we can provide an entire home packing service or we can custom tailor the pack to fit your needs. We will arrive with all the boxes and packing supplies necessary to safely care for your items so that they are ready for moving day.
