Moving Tips made easy!
We know moving can be a very stressful event for anyone. It's often a very displacing process and it's easy to get overwhelmed. Luckily, we know the process well and are helping to help you make your next move the best one yet! It all starts with how you prepare:
1. Make moving arrangements 3-4 weeks ahead of your ideal move day. This helps to ensure the best availability with your movers and gives you plenty of time to get things ready.
2. Take time to declutter, sell, or donate unwanted items before starting to pack. This can help you stay organized and focus on only items you do wish to move to your new place.
3. Start your packing process by working from least used items to more daily-use items up until move day.
4. Towels make great cushioning for delicate items like pictures, lamps, and dishes! Additionally, space or vacuum saver bags are great for compressing bulky items like pillows, bedding, and winter clothing.
5. Make a move-day box! Gather items such as trash bags, extra light bulbs, phone chargers, important documents, a first aid kit, water, snacks, cleaning products, toilet paper, and paper towels.
