Giving Back to Our Community

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Asheville is committed to giving back to our community in anyway we can! We are involved in numerous local charities as well as system wide collection drives.

Movers for Moms®

Each spring, we collect items for our annual Movers for Moms® campaign to support mothers in need.  Mother's Day should be a joyous occasion for all mothers and their families. Unfortunately for some women, that's not always the case. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is hoping to change that with our program, Movers for Moms®. The purpose of the program is to recognize those moms living in shelters this Mother's Day by arranging delivery of donated gifts/items. Now through Mother's Day, we will be collecting personal hygiene items and household goods. These items will be donated to local shelters prior to Mother's Day. If you are interested in making a donation or being a Movers for Moms® collection partner, please contact our office and ask for Michelle Campbell. You may also drop off donations at our office located at 240 Rutledge Road, Fletcher, NC.

Community involvment and partnerships

One of our core values at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is giving back to our community.  In 2015, we are proud to have partnered with the following organizations:

Eblen Charities

We have been partnering with Eblen Charities for many years on several different projects. The organization offers a wide range of services, including assistance with health, energy, education, emergency assistance, and housing.  TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Asheville has donated trucks, man power, and boxes to assist in their  annual coat collection as well as donating to additional efforts, such as Headlock on Hunger and Hoops Against Hunger.

march of dimes

Every year, more than half a million babies are born too soon, over 16,000 of them right here in North Carolina. March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies and support families if something does go wrong. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Asheville assists March of Dimes each spring with their March for Babies Walk as well as their annual gala held in the fall.

children first/communities in schools

Each year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Asheville partners with Children First/Communities In Schools for their annual food drive. We park trucks and men at different locations to collect canned/boxed food that will be stock a food pantry and distributed to families in need during times that the children are not in school.
