What Is the “3 for Free Veteran Move Giveaway”?

Every year on Veterans Day, our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® sets aside time to say thank you to the men and women who’ve served our country. We do that through our “3 for Free Veteran Move Giveaway.”

This program is simple — it’s our way of giving back. Each year, we donate three free local moves to veterans in our community. These are full-service moves handled start to finish by our professional team, including:

• Trained and background-checked movers

• A fully equipped moving truck

• Padding and wrapping for belongings

• Safe, careful service from beginning to end

This year, we decided to go even bigger. We’re doubling our commitment and moving six veterans for free in our local Billings Community.

We invite anyone in the community to nominate a veteran who could use a helping hand. Maybe they’re settling into a new home, moving closer to family, or simply deserve a show of appreciation. Whatever the reason, this is our way of honoring their service — by serving them in return and helping them move forward with less stress and more support.

The 2023 Queen Been Marathon aka Montana Marathon was TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Billings second year supporting an iconic Billings area race. Our teams delivered all the water stops as well as transported all race apparel and expo materials. What a fun weekend supporting the 406 Race Series and the racers of the Billings area! 

Today we had the privilege of completing our first Veteran move of 2025 as part of our 3 for Free x2 Veterans Day Giveaway.
Our team had the chance to help a local hero who has spent years serving our country, and it felt good to be able to give something back. Standing with him in front of the truck really sums up what this program means to us — showing appreciation, taking care of our community, and supporting the men and women who’ve looked out for all of us.

This is just the first of several moves we’ll be doing for Montana Veterans this season, and we’re excited to keep it going.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a Veteran, and a heartfelt thank-you to all who have served. We’re proud to do our part.

2023 Girl Scout cookie delivery success!!!! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Billings delivered over 30,000 boxes of cookies to troops all across the Billings area. These troops would otherwise spend countless hours with numerous volunteers loading several vehicles with cookies to be get taken to troop leaders' homes for distribution to individual scouts. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Billings thought, why not make it easier just like a move! Management from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK volunteered their time gathering pallets, donating stretch wrap, and their logistic knowledge to make the deliveries happen smoothly and painlessly for troop leaders. What a fun event!

Happy Holidays to ALL!!! Partnering with Yellowstone County Toys for Tots we delivered thousands of toys to bring a smile to local children on Christmas Morning!

WE LOVE giving these checks out every year!!! While being veteran-operated here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Billings, it goes without saying that we LOVE supporting our Veterans and organizations that support Veterans!! Each year since we have opened here in Billings we have partnered with a non-profit Veteran organization that provides the much-needed support that Veterans need here in Montana. If you did a move with us last year, you heard about how AMAZING The (VNN) Veterans Navigation Network is and how they assist Montana Veterans with the transition from Military service to civilian life.

So, THANK YOU Billings! It's because of you and your support while allowing us to move you, and letting us know how your move went, that allows us to donate to such an amazing group of people to continue making a positive difference with local Veterans.

Giving Back to Billings: Our Fourth Year Supporting Toys for Tots

This holiday season, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Billings was honored to once again partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for the Toys for Tots campaign. For the fourth-year running, our team helped transport toys from the Marine Corps Reserve Center to the distribution center at MetraPark—and this year was our biggest yet.
 

Four 26-foot moving trucks, filled to capacity with toys, made their way across Billings. Each box represented hope, joy, and the promise of a brighter holiday for children in our community. It's the kind of work that reminds us why we do what we do.

Meet Kyle: The Heart Behind the Hustle

In the photo, you'll see Kyle—one of our team members—unloading a box of toys with a smile that says it all. That genuine joy? It's not just for the camera. Kyle has been with Two Men and a Truck for over two years, and he's always the first to volunteer for community events like this one.
 

But for Kyle, Toys for Tots isn't just another day of work. It's personal.
 

Kyle grew up right here in Billings. As a kid, he remembers what it meant to receive toys during the holidays—the excitement, the feeling of being remembered and cared for. Now, as a father to a young daughter, he understands even more deeply what this campaign means to families in our area.
 

Year after year, Kyle is one of the first to raise his hand when Toys for Tots comes around. He loves seeing the tangible impact we can make together—truck after truck filled with hope, heading to children who might not otherwise have gifts under the tree. For him, it's about paying forward the kindness he once received and ensuring his daughter grows up in a community that takes care of its own.
