TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has established a set of core values that we live by each and every day. One of our core values is the give back to the community. At our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Gulf Coast location, we believe in giving back to our community that supports us and gives so much back to us in return.

Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Gulf Coast, we value our mothers and the impact they have on the lives of others. That’s why every year we reach out and connect with our community to provide essentials items for mothers in need, no matter their circumstances. Movers for Moms® is a nationwide effort to help mothers in need get back on their feet and feel special.

How the Program Works

The Movers for Moms® campaign partners with local businesses and organizations to collect essential care items for women staying in local shelters. Our office will handle all logistics between shelter partners, trucks, pick-ups, deliveries, etc. In addition, we’ll supply your organization with collection boxes, posters and literature about the program. We’ll also provide you with a list of items requested by the shelter to distribute to your office staff/clients. This year due to COVID, we are only collecting at our office, and you can drop off anytime, or leave at our office's front door and we will handle a no contact pickup. We also are relying on our customers to help this year be a success!

How to Get Involved

To get involved in Movers for Moms® 2021, please help us by promoting the collection drive, and if you are able to donate any of the supplies we would greatly appreciate it! TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will handle all the other details, including the pick-up and delivery of gifts to the GULF COAST CENTER FOR NON-VIOLENCE.

Movers for Moms® 2021 will begin on the 1st of April and run through May 6th, the Thursday before Mother's Day!

We hope you will join the Movers for Moms® program in helping make Mother’s Day 2021 a happier day for mothers in need across the region. If you have any questions, or if you’d like to register your organization for the Movers for Moms® program, please call us or email me at For more information on Movers for Moms®, visit

Local Partners

We were excited to partner with Back Bay Mission for our Movers for Military Program last year! For every Facebook "like" we got for the month of October through Sunday, November 11 (Veteran's Day), we donated $1 to the Back Bay Mission Veteran's Support Fund. We ended up donating $500 to Back Bay Mission!

Back Bay Mission has a simple mission: to strengthen neighborhoods, seek justice, and transform lives. Back Bay Mission has multiple, unique ministries where they are able to give back to people who are in need and pour their servant hearts back into our community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. As a volunteer, we at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® get just as much out of partnering with such a wonderful organization as they receive from the help we provide. Whether they are helping a homeowner keep their home, mentoring a single mother as she plans her path out of poverty, or working with an intern who is thinking about a career in social work, Back Bay Mission is making the lives of the people we serve better!

Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, provides a powerful voice for abused and neglected children. These advocates are highly-trained and dedicated individuals who are fact finders for the judge by researching the background of each child's case; and they speak for the child in the courtroom, representing the child's best interests. CASA works to move the children they represent as quickly and effectively as possible through the system and into a safe, permanent home.

One of our Core Values at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK- Gulfport, MS & Hattiesburg, MS is to "give back to the community." We are so thankful for the work Jackson County CASA does in our community and we were so excited to help them again this holiday season! We picked up and delivered lots of Christmas goodies for around 40 children, that were sponsored by employees at the Golden Nugget Biloxi!!

Disability Connection is a local charity effort to provide clients with disabilities the resources needed to connect with their community. We have partnered with Disability Connection to assist their efforts in providing relocation services for their clients.

We have recently partnered with Elijah's Closet with help them move furniture that is gifted to their organization by generous donors! Elijah's Closet's mission is to assist families with children in foster care and families that have children who are susceptible to going into foster care. We enjoy giving back to our community and know that any little thing we can do to ease the stress of these non-profit organizations, is very much appreciated! The Gulf Coast Women's Center for Non-Violence is one of the largest programs in the state of Mississippi dedicated to helping women and children during their time of need.  Gulf Coast Women's Center for Non-Violence has helped over 20,000 victims receive the support and resources they need to move forward from difficult situations.  We have partnered with this organization to collect and deliver donations to help assist their clients in need through our Movers for Moms® program.

We are excited to be partnering with the Habitat for Humanity RESTORE in helping our customers save money and helping out the community! While you are preparing for your big move with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK you may come across some furniture you may no longer need or want, that is where Habitat for Humanity RESTORE comes in! They will come and pick up your items free of charge, and you will be a part of building, renovating, and repairing homes in our community. Plus, the fewer items you have will save you time (and money) on your upcoming move.

Open Doors Homeless Coalition is a local non-profit effort bringing awareness to our community to help reduce the number of citizens without a home.  We are pleased to provide volunteer services to Open Doors Homeless Coalition by helping deliver furniture items donated to the organization and to their clients in need.

Their goal is to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place. They believe that TOGETHER, we can all make South Mississippi's tomorrows brighter today!
