TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns
Movers for Moms
Each year we partnered with other community-minded businesses and organizations during our Movers for Moms® campaign. Together, we collected hundreds of essential care items for mothers in domestic abuse or homeless shelters, just in time for Mother’s Day. We are proud to call the following businesses our partners: First Free Church Minneapolis, City Looks Salon, The Hair District Plymouth, The Hair District St. Louis Park, Maple Grove Chiropractic, Claris Eye Center, Candlelight Floral, Kindercare, Adams Spanish Immersion, and Cornerstone. Together, we made Mother’s Day brighter for dozens of women and their children.
C.H. Robinson is the title sponsor of the Bike MS: C.H. Robinson MS 150 ride for the sixth consecutive year. Since 2004, C.H. Robinson employees, family, and friends have been participating in this two-day bike ride that covers 150 miles from Duluth to the Twin Cities. Donations raised through the ride directly help people impacted by multiple sclerosis (MS) by funding support programs, services, and cutting-edge research. For many years we sent five of our moving trucks to Duluth with the bikers participating in the ride. Our movers use the trucks to transport and store the participants’ bikes and bags throughout the three-day event. Cargill has participated in this ride for many years as well and is proud to support the MS Society and their efforts. Cargill has historically been in the top three fundraising teams and we work together with them on this event.
Cheeriodicals has a national partnership with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, and we were honored to donate our moving services to deliver their wonderful “Big Green Boxes of Cheer” to the Masonic Children’s Hospital and the St. Paul Children’s hospital. Cheeriodicals developed corporate team building events for organizations to sponsor and construct hundred of Cheeriodical boxes to be distributed. We have been fortunate to deliver these boxes and see the smiles on the patients and their parents' faces when they receive the boxes. This is one of our favorite organizations that we get to partner with.
For over 30 years, Cornerstone staff have been serving adults and children traumatized by unhealthy, destructive relationships based on power and control. Throughout our history, they have dedicated themselves to helping people build healthy and violence-free lives for themselves and their families. Every spring we run our Movers for Moms® campaign to collect donations and deliver them to the women of Cornerstone. We work with local community organizations to collect goods that will make Mother’s Day extra special living at this shelter.
Race for the Cure
The Komen Minnesota Affiliate is working to better the lives of those facing breast cancer in our community. Each year in May, Susan G Komen hosts the Race for the Cure in the Twin Cities. We are a sponsor of the race and participate in their Health Expo.
Stamp Out Hunger/Second Harvest
Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect the goodness and compassion of their postal customers, who participate in the NALC Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation. We set up our trucks at Cub Foods and load all of the food that is being donated. We then deliver the items to Second Harvest to give to local families in need.
Twin Cities Kids in Need Resource Center
The Twin Cities Kids In Need Resource Center (TCKINRC) provides students most in need with free school supplies that make it possible for them to fully participate in classroom learning. Therefore, they provide students in need with supplied filled backpacks. We've been able to work with them and offer our services by delivering backpacks to local schools.
