Community Service in Grand Rapids

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, our core values are reflected in our daily actions, and the annual Movers For Moms® campaign exemplifies our dedication to supporting the community. This initiative, started ten years ago, focuses on collecting vital care items for mothers living in shelters for the homeless and those escaping domestic abuse. Our goal is to ensure that every mom receives a thoughtful gift on Mother’s Day, regardless of their situation.

In 2024, thanks to the incredible support from the Grand Rapids community, we proudly donated over 7,500 essential items to the YWCA of West Central Michigan!

This year, our goal is to donate over 8,250 items to the YWCA of West Central Michigan, we know we can do it with your help and our wonderful collection partners!

In 2017, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Grand Rapids North launched its first-ever Movers For Mutts® campaign! With the amazing support of the Grand Rapids community and local businesses, we successfully donated more than 1,100 essential care items to the Humane Society of West Michigan in 2024!

The Humane Society of West Michigan's(opens in a new window) mission to promote the humane treatment and responsible care of animals in West Michigan through education, example, placement and protection. With the help of volunteers and community support, they are able to assist over 8,000 animals annually all while receiving no funding from the government or national animal welfare foundations. Programs are also offered for the public to help reduce pet overpopulation, provide assistance for low-income families, and reuniting lost pets with their owners. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Grand Rapids North is grateful for this opportunity and hopes you'll join us in supporting them! 

The YWCA West Central Michigan transforms lives through empowerment programs for girls and offers the community’s most comprehensive services to address domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and child sexual abuse. At the heart of their mission is a commitment to Eliminating Racism; Empowering Women and Girls; and Promoting Peace, Justice, Freedom, and Dignity for All.
