Devotion to Community

We are proud to live the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core values of giving back to the community and treating everyone like we would our own grandmothers - with integrity and care.

Movers for Moms®

We have enjoyed becoming a part of the community through various local organizations and living the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core value of giving back to the community. We are very proud to be a part of the national charity campaign, Movers for Moms®, which works to assist women by collecting donations for women each spring and deliver them to local women’s and family shelters on or before Mother’s Day.

We appreciate any support for our campaign to help mothers in need on Mother's Day!

Movers for Meals®

In the Fall of 2015, we coordinated another campaign, Movers for Meals®, benefitting another cause in need. Movers for Meals®, currently in its 7th year, is an annual collection drive of nonperishable food items in hopes of putting more food on the tables of families.

Manna Food Center

The donated canned goods and nonperishable items were collected and delivered to our local Manna Food Center, the premier food bank of Montgomery County. Since 1983, Manna has provided food to more than 40,000 individuals every year and assisting soup kitchens, food pantries, and emergency shelters by distributing rescued food all year 'round. Essentially, Manna is the strong social safety net to nearly every Montgomery County social service organization.

Bella Ballet Dance

A major thank you goes out to Hope McDonald, owner of Bella Ballet Dance, for becoming a community partner and to all of the families who contributed to this cause. We couldn't do it without you!

Community Partnerships & Donations

Cheeriodicals

A company transpired from personal experience, Cheeriodicals was created as a gift-giving delivery service for hospital patients. Many TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations participate in their Corporate Team Building activities by providing the means to transport the hundreds of Cheeriodicals - aka "cheerful periodicals" - constructed by corporate sponsors.

Habitat for Humanity & A Wider Circle

In our short time since opening, we have donated nearly 100 hours of volunteer work. Local charities we support include Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Gaithersburg and
A Wider Circle in Silver Spring.

Both of these organizations provide gently used household goods to people who are less fortunate and we are grateful to lend a hand to these great causes.

American Cancer Society

We continue to contribute to the American Cancer Society, our system-wide national charity of choice, by donating 10 cents of every move to the cause. Since 2001, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has raised more than $400,000 benefiting local American Cancer Society programs in cities where franchises are located.

Susan G. Komen Fund of Mid-Michigan

We contribute regularly to the Susan G. Komen fund by participating in their Race for the Cure across the country, but mostly with our donations of $1 for every returned survey submitted by our customers following a move.
