I had very few things damaged in the move. There are always some things. A furniture repair guy was sent out immediately to take care of the damage. A door knob was not completely off and a key broken off in a lock during the move out of my former home. No one told me about it or mentioned it at any time. That means something was knocked really hard into that door knob.It was disappointing that no one said anything at the time.

The move was scheduled for 1:00. They showed up at 5:30. Totally unexceptable. My husband and I took off work and wasted time. I had to call the office to keep checking where they were. Nobody called me. I was given a small discount. I was double charged and had to wait for credit. The desk was dropped and damaged but they did send a repairman, Johnny who did an awesome job with the repair. The manager did try to accommodate me. Just can’t get over how they could just show up 4 1/2 hours late and I wasn’t feeling much love that anyone cared. They need a new person to schedule the time slots for how long these moves will take. They probably made more money staying longer at the job before me and didn’t care. Movers were nice guys.

I had two pieces of my furniture broken during the move. I was told I would get an email and could file with their insurance but I have not gotten that email. I’m hoping they can fix these pieces or replace them, but it is unlikely since one is a large rip in my couch.

The movers that came to my apartment were friendly and motivated to move quickly. I appreciated that. That said, as the process progressed, they got tired and sloppy. They were not wrapping things properly and they damaged my desk. It was also apparent these men were not formally trained on how to move things. Their strength and relative youth helped them...but only so far.

I was very satisfied with the overall move. I did have an new appliance damaged in the move. The local office did compensate me for the damage but it wasn't near what the value of the appliance was.

overall my move experience was good. The boxes were extremely expensive and in the future will get boxes from another place. The moving team did a great job. There were only a few small things broken but that comes with every move. Nothing major was damaged and they wrapped our furniture very well. The team was on time, communicated well and made my move easy.

The guys had the best intention but they were TOO slow. They told me they only had 16 boxes to be picked up on their report when I had to move a two story house. With them being slow and the rain I ended paying $800. They also damaged my mattress. Stupid of me that I signed the paperwork with no damage to report. My mattress now has a foam bubble that does not go away. They told me it will go away if I stand the mattress, which I did for several days but still it cannot be used. I am so upset about this...

The moving crew was excellent. They took great care of my belongings and worked quickly and efficiently to get me into my new home. One item was damaged during the move, and the office responded quickly to my damage report and is sending someone out for repairs this week. After weeks of packing and preparing, I felt like I could relax on moving day while Two Men took care of everything. I would definitely recommend the service to friends.

I chose Two Men and a Truck because of the name. I love it! My dad was in the moving business for many years (he did the estimates and sold the moves). It got 4 kids through school (plus he worked a second job most of the time, too).
I did lose a couple of glass lamps in the move, through my own fault. I packed them myself for one thing and I didn't label the boxes as containing glass. Lesson learned, though I hope I don't have to move again. However, if I do, I would definitely use Two Men and a Truck and I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is moving.
Thanks for a job well don. (By the way, I did call back a second crew 2 days later to remove 2 large pieces of furniture which I thought my landlord wanted but then changed his mind. Thanks, Men!!
