Being a part of the Baton Rouge Community is something we are truly thankful for. There are so many great organizations with many different events that we love to be a part of. Below are several of the organizations which we support by donating our services and being involved in various events.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Campaigns

Movers for Meals®

In association with Thanksgiving, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® partners with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to collect canned goods and nonperishable items to donate to their warehouse. During our campaign we host a Donations Day Food Drive at a local grocery store. Local schools and other organizations around Baton Rouge are also designated as drop off locations where our trucks collect all the goods donated at the end of the campaign. 

Movers for Moms®

Movers for Moms® campaign, which aims to collect essential care items to local moms in need around the time of Mother’s Day, we partnered with Iris Domestic Violence Center(opens in a new window).

Movers for Mutts

It's that time of year again! We are partnering with Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge and Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge to collect food, toys, and other pet essentials while they wait for their furever homes!

Donation items include:

  • Cleaning supplies like bleach, Clorox wipes, Lysol
  • Blankets (fleece)
  • Small dog treats
  • Leashes, collars (unused)
  • Pee pads, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, dawn dish soap
  • Science Puppy wet food, science small bites dry food, & Nutrisource from Neighborhood Pet Market

Local Partners

GREATER BATON ROUGE FOOD BANK 

The Greater Baton Rouge Area Food Bank is a nonprofit organization which solicits, procures, inventories and warehouses donated food and other products. The food is distributed to a variety of community agencies. Their mission is to feed the hungry in Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes by providing food and educational outreach through faith-based and other community partners. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® partners with the Food Bank for our annual Movers for Meals campaign which is held in the fall close to Thanksgiving. All the goods and donations collected during our Movers for Meals campaign is doneated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Junior League of Baton Rouge’s Touch a Truck

The Junior League of Baton Rouge is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Touch A Truck is a unique, interactive, one-day event that allows children to see, touch, and explore their favorite big trucks, vehicles, heavy equipment and more, as well as meet the individuals who protect, serve, and build Baton Rouge. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® donates services and is an exhibitor with a truck at this event annually.

UNITED WAY JAMBALAYA JAM

The Jambalaya Jam is the Capital Area United Way's signature community event. Year after year, this event has help support CAUW's mission of putting people in a postition to recognize and achieve thier full potential.  TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is a bronze sponsor by donating our services and dollars to the community event.
