Mike Shane has been a huge part of Valparaiso's TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Team. Mike was the first driver ever hired at the Valparaiso location back in 2004. He worked on the trucks for 2 years before moving into a management position. In 2006 Mike became one of the Office Managers of the Valparaiso TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. After 2 years in that position he was again promoted in 2008 to the General Manager. He has been franchisee and owner Jeff Brown's right hand man. Mike is always there to answer any questions movers and drivers have and always shows his passion about TWO MAN AND A TRUCK's success.
Thomas Shane has been a huge part of Valparaiso's TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Team. Tom was the first mover ever hired at the Valparaiso location back in 2004. He began working on the trucks and quickly advanced to a driver. He worked on the trucks for 2 years before moving into a management position. In 2006 Tom became one of the Office Managers of the Valparaiso location. Tom is always there to answer any questions for the Customer Service Representatives and handles all of our claims. Tom enjoys completing tasks but loves to have fun in the office which is a part of Valparaiso TWO MEN AND A TRUCK's success.
Faith joined the office staff as a Customer Service Representative in 2010. Faith in the past has been the winner of a mystery shop conducted by our Home Office as winning a top CSR award in the entire system. She is happily married and has 2 daughters. She is actually expecting a new baby in October! Faith's favorite core value of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is THE GRANDMA RULE®. Team members treat each customer as you would want your Grandma to be treated.
Melissa has been a Customer Service Representative at Valparaiso TWO MEN AND A TRUCK since 2013. Melissa has one adult son who actually worked as a mover at the Valparaiso location during the summer while attending Purdue University. She enjoys working in the Valparaiso Community that she has lived in for the past 35 years. Melissa's favorite value of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is Give back to the community. Melissa recently joined the $80k Club for booking $80,000 of moves.
Ross has been working in some form for the Valparaiso TWO MEN AND A TRUCK since he was 15 years old. Jobs have varied from cleaning, taking care of supplies/ box inventory, maintaining the shops landscaping and working in the office. He was a mover for 3 years before becoming a driver once he turned 21. Ross was a driver for 2 years. Ross graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Business Administration where he made the Deans list the last two semesters there. After graduation he was promoted to Marketing and Warehouse Manager. Eventually he hopes to become a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisee!
Kara joined the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK team in 2017. She resonated with the company mission statement of continuously strive to exceed our customers' expectations in value and high standard. "When my husband was in the corporate world, we moved many times! I understand it can be stressful." She enjoys how all moves are different and is ready to meet the challenge of each. As a wife, and mom of three adult kids, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with the family. On sunny Saturday mornings, a trip to the farmer's market is a likely occurrence. Kara's favorite core value is be your best and have fun.
